Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Franklin

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

We had a great relaxing time at Greta's place. The place was roomy and had everything we needed. It was private and and surrounded by only the sound of nature up a beautiful mountain. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the campfire and sitting on the roomy outside deck under the dancing trees in the cool breeze. Greta was helpful and responsive. Celeste was an exceptionally friendly host. She responded quickly and was a delight to interact with. Her house was quiet and nestled in the beautiful, peaceful mountains, offering amazing views. The front porch was perfect for enjoying early-morning coffee and watching fireflies in the late evening. The house provided everything we needed for a quick getaway. We will definitely be returning soon!

Dj was responsive and the home was beautiful, large, clean, and had everything you could need. Towels were soft. Bathroom was clean. Beds were clean and bedrooms had fans (absolutely great) and an amazing location

The cottage was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. We had many amenities, more than we expected. The neighborhood was quiet, and close to town. If we were ever to visit Franklin again, we would definitely stay at the Windmill Cottage.

Usually when you stay at an Airbnb, you get what you pay for but here we got a very unexpected and never before experienced stay. Every single detail was so thoughtful and so generous, and it made our time an absolute blessing. Joan and clay are such a joy to talk with and they have gone far above and beyond any other place to make sure we had everything we could want or need. Truly felt like they were family and enjoyed our stay so so much. Will be back soon.

My wife and I grew up in Sylva. We came home to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had several questions for Diane and she was wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

We were in town for a wedding and traveling 7.5 hours to get there the stay was absolutely amazing! It rained while we were there on Friday but we enjoined sitting on the porch with blankets listening to the rain fall on the tin roof! We enjoyed watching the neighbors horses that would come to the fence to visit and we enjoyed watching the chickens beside the house ( don’t worry they are all quiet as well). We ended up being a party of three traveling with a 14 year old boy who never once said he was bored he spent his time on the swings outside and petting the horses! I highly recommend this place it is close to town, nice quiet location, easy driveway, no steps to climb and peaceful! The House is very clean, beds are comfy even the couch bed sleeps well per the 14 year old. The Host is very friendly and made sure we had absolutely everything that we needed! The home is stocked with all the things we needed and was the perfect size! Thank you for having us! Martha, Natalie, Nathan

What a great place to stay in Bryson City. MooseLodge was an exceptional place and our family loved staying there for three nights in June. The kids were sad to go! Sean has made sure that the place has so many thoughtful things left in it, and the bathroom is like a spa experience with included sauna. The place is just outside the main town, but only a 2-3 min drive away; lovely and quiet. It's also very close to DeepCreek which is super for hiking and tubing down the river.

Maggie and Mike are wonderful, responsive, and attentive hosts! They made us feel so welcomed and were very helpful with recommendations for hiking and sightseeing in the area. Meeting them was such an added bonus to a great stay. The apartment was just as described and met all of our expectations. The property is gorgeous and so very peaceful and the view is stunning. We are very glad we stayed here and would like to come again.

We loved staying at Lara’s. Because of rainy weekend, the mountains were especially lush and foggy creating almost magical misty atmosphere. We were able to build a fire every night. Kitchen was perfectly stocked with nice scratch free pots/pans. Lots of nature and little towns to explore nearby. Thank you Lara - we would love to come back!

We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

DON’T miss your chance to experience the magic of the River Love barn. Kangee’s EXCEPTIONAL hospitality throughout our time in her home set the tone for the entirety of our stay. Her attentiveness & genuine warmth made us feel right at home. The beauty of this property is truly beyond words. While the photos online are stunning, they don’t fully capture the enchanting atmosphere that envelops you as soon as you step onto the grounds. Our favorite spots were the clawfoot tub, perfectly nestled in a private, serene area of the property & the outdoor hammock within the screened in back deck. Kangee truly brought the outside in with her thoughtful design. Even on a rainy day- the sky lights during a storm that had passed through was such a reminder of the cozy atmosphere that permeates the barn. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful getaway or a relaxing family trip, the River Love Barn is a hidden gem that I cannot recommend enough. We left feeling refreshed & inspired, with hearts full.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods. The location was perfect—very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the fireflies light up the forest at night—absolutely magical! The cabin itself was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Graham and Linda were fantastic hosts—communication was clear, thoughtful, and timely from start to finish. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene retreat in the mountains. We stayed at the cabin for a week in May, to ride around on motorcycle and do some white water rafting. The view from both floors of the cabin was picturesque. Water gets hot quick and has good pressure, kitchen has everything you need. Great WiFi and smart tv to watch anything. Hot tub on deck is excellent after a long day of activities in the mountains. Driveway in community and up to cabin is beautiful, however steep and challenging on a motorcycle - but doable. Highly recommend this cabin, super private and secluded. About a 20 minutes to and from nearest town/restaurants, but that’s the beauty of it. Highly recommend, Casey is great and so is cabin.

What a wonderful place. The view is just as described. It’s beautiful. The place is very private and neat as a pin. Very clean. For sure one of the cleanest places we’ve booked. There’s a small ice cream shop at the end of the road that was great. Very friendly. The road is somewhat steep just as described but easily doable in our SUV. I would highly recommend a stay here. We do enjoy this area because it’s not as highly commercialized as it is on the other side of Smoky Mountain National Park and the views are way more spectacular. I would give this place 10/10 for sure.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful - in a gorgeous setting with incredible views. It’s so private and yet only a 5 minute drive from Bryson City, and very close to the Smokies as well. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and the house itself is well appointed, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making us feel very at home. Thank you for sharing your lovely property, Kymberly!

Mary Anne's place was even more quaint than the pictures depicted. Very accessible to The Great Smokey Mountain National Park where we spent most of our time. Mary Anne was very responsive to our queries and had some great resources on hand in the place too.
