Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Freyung-Grafenau

We had perfect days with the family. With my parents and our children & dog, the house was ideally equipped and large. The many possibilities to sit outside were perfect and the large property was also great. My sister was also able to come with her camper at short notice and had a pitch with electricity and water in the back of the property for €25/night. Michal was super easy to reach and always helped us immediately. The location is great, you only have to go 150m down the meadow to the lake, where the Windy Beach with sandy beach, beach bar, playground and Co: is. We will definitely be back ❤️

Very well-maintained, spacious and cozy wooden cottage directly on the forest. We (2 adults, 4 children) felt right at home. Super equipped kitchen. You can leave the house directly and explore the area.

We had a great week in the apartment and felt completely comfortable! The apartment is surprisingly spacious – it looks even bigger in real life than in the pictures – and also the garden is really big, which was great for playing football together, for example. A highlight was definitely the jacuzzi, which we had a lot of fun. From the house you can start directly to hikes, but we also took a trip to the small Arbersee and took a beautiful tour there. In general, it is helpful to arrive by car because it makes it simply more flexible in terms of activities. The communication with the landlords was consistently great – friendly, straightforward and fast. Overall we had a really nice time and can only recommend the place!

We spent a wonderful Christmas vacation at Daniela and Stefan's place (4 adults, 3 children). The house is very nice and cozy. Kitchen utensils and other accessories are sufficiently available and nothing is missing. We felt very comfortable right from the start. The cozy beds are worth mentioning, we slept wonderfully :-) A very nice gesture on arrival is the delicious cake and filled basket with all kinds of goodies. The hosts were very helpful, always available for questions, gave us good tips for excursions and helped us with Christmas shopping. The children were able to romp around in the snow right by the house (sled and bob are available) and the parents enjoyed the sauna. Towels and bathrobes are available. All in all, a perfect vacation. Daniela and Stefan's place is highly recommended.

We had a great weekend with friends

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. The place is very tasteful and cozy. The terrace with its view is ideal for sitting outside. The host is always making every effort to ensure that guests lack nothing. We had a very nice time with Gerlinde and Rainer and will definitely be back!

We are two adults and three children (7, 6 and 1). Staying in the vacation home was super cozy, the space was sufficient and with the help of the sauna, we could end our day every evening. There are several hiking trails to discover the area as well as other ways to pass the time in bad weather (animal shelter, several ice halls, glass museum...). Communication with the hosts was straightforward. They were really nice and informed us about everything important. They were also always reachable. We highly recommend the place (also the second slightly larger house).

We absolutely loved Stefan's cabin. The location is fantastic, along the river and the sauna is a perfect touch. It was really clean and everything is incredibly well thought through. It's the perfect place to unwind - would really recommend!

We had a great time in the apartment with the Adam family. Very cozy, lovingly furnished and well-equipped apartment. The sauna and whirlpool (€20 per use) are also a great addition. Alois was very friendly, courteous and we were even able to check in later than advertised. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be.

From the beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly family. The farm with alpacas, playful dogs, a donkey and other animals was a real highlight - especially for our little son. The apartment is cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Beautifully located in the middle of nature! Thank you for the wonderful time, we will be happy to come back!

Petra was an amazing host. She was very helpful and very kind. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very close to Český Krumlov, which was beautiful. We are already planning another trip. The house itself was beautiful, and the farm was lovely. My daughter enjoyed seeing the horses and chickens. This place is for sure a relaxing area. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Michael's place. We were received super nicely with a sparkling wine and a cake baked for us. You really don't experience something like this very often. The apartment was super nicely spacious and modernly furnished. In the kitchen, we lacked nothing. The bathroom was a great place to relax with a bathtub and a nice large shower. We got a lot of tips for things to do and felt at home from the first second. We can only recommend every guest to vacation here! Friendly and warm - what more could you ask for? We will be happy to come back. Thanks for a great time in the Bavarian Forest.

Superior location, right in the middle of beautiful Passau. Everything about the apartment is charming. A great experience.

We had a lovely stay at this chalet! Beautifully located, though not quite as lonely as the pictures suggest. Very friendly and straightforward contact with hosts. Good amenities and general condition. Glad to come back!

We stay here for 4 days to go Praga and Cêsky Krumlov. And it was the best desition. The place es New and really beatifull. The SAUNA the best !!!

The place was great, even nicer than in the photos. It was very clean and tidy. Bedrooms were lovely. We had someone come by twice a day and heated up. If someone now wonders if there may be any hot water at times or if the accommodation gets cold, I can give an all-clear. It was never cold, we always had hot water ( 13 people, including 4 children). The lady who came to heat up was very friendly and always trying very hard not to stand out. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. All in all, we were more than thrilled. It couldn't have been better. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back at any time. Very clear recommendation 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We were so happy with everything. The place is beautiful, clean, cozy and mega big. The area is super quiet, you can relax there very well. We had everything you could need in a place. Katrin is super sweet and immediately helped if you wanted to know something or needed something. You immediately feel comfortable in this accommodation and we were really sad when we had to leave again. We will certainly come back.

We had the most wonderful time at Vaseks' house. It felt like a little oasis with everything you could need and want. The garden is huge, the view is beautiful and there is everything and more to not worry about anything and take a little break from life. Everything was very clean and there was a lot of room to put our things, like bathroom closets, empty fridge, etc. We didn‘t bring any kids, but it is a kids paradise: a trampoline, games and toys, swings, and so much more, they will not get bored. Communication with Vasek was very easy (not too much, not too little). He gave great recommendations on what to do in the area (walks, hikes , swimming in the river, old castles and shops in town) and helped when we needed it. The atmosphere of the house felt more like staying with family or friends (without actually seeing them) than an airbnb. Highly recommended to anyone!

We had booked three nights in house no. 15 of the Lipno Club for the last weekend in August 2024. We found the house to be very, very pleasant for our family of 8 (4 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 toddlers) including a dog, which was accommodated in a portable doghouse. There was plenty of parking space for our two cars. The extremely informative support from Petr was very good. He even provided us with a children's travel bed upon request. The house was fully satisfactorily equipped with all appliances and kitchen facilities and very well maintained. Everything worked out just fine. The location on the edge of the forest was very pleasant, as was the short distance to the lake. Overall it was very quiet there, with lots of nature around us and friendly staff. Too bad that a sauna was located directly on our back wall and was loudly shared by our neighbors. They strutted across our terrace while we grilled our dinner!

This beautiful house was rebuilt and restored with visibly high and priceless effort and obviously according to very demanding ecological standards. The history of this house alone is very worth reading! We felt so comfortable in it that we - unusually - spent more time in it and in its wonderful outdoor area than originally planned!
