Monthly Rentals in Friden

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay here. The village is beautiful, and well equipped with pubs! We had a delicious dinner at the Farmyard Inn which was a 10/15 minute walk from the house, there is a pub less than 5 minutes walk away however. It is only a 10 minute drive into Bakewell down some very scenic country lanes. The room itself was super cosy, we had everything we needed, including a smart TV so we could binge watch Charmed in the evening. We were welcomed in person, Phil and Diane are both super friendly and helpful, Ben their dog, is absolutely gorgeous and loved a fuss. There was homemade sourdough bread on the side when we checked in, along with freshly picked strawberries from their garden, drinks, butter, the list goes on, we felt very cared for and appreciated it greatly. We didn't use the sauna but it looked brilliant. Overall we would definitely stay here again, it was so peaceful.

We had a lovely few days at Rowan Tree Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and was equipped with everything you need for a confortable break. Our daughters especially loved the easter eggs in the Welcome Pack which was lovely touch for our Easter Break. Jane is a great host and very communicative from booking to check in and onwards. She also bakes a great victoria sponge :) We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Courtyard Creamery is just lovely. It is a really special place to stay.. This was our 4th visit and we plan to return again in the future. The surroundings are stunning, there are great walks and a pub and hotel restaurant in walking distance. Jane is a great host and she makes amazing brownies.

This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful cottage. It's a very pretty village with the peak district on your doorstep. Great place for anyone with a dog, like us. The cottage is clean, cosy and has all amenities you would need for a fabulous stay. Thank you!
