The location is ideal for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, swimming lakes and natural surroundings. Burg Gemünden is a former 13th-century castle that was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The Herrenhaus offers 6 spacious bedrooms with room for up to 6 families and groups of up to 12 adults. It can accommodate 20 people in 5 double beds with good mattresses. The building also offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with an open fireplace. 1 small lounge. 1 large kitchen, library, 1 sauna, 1 whirlpool (additional €150 to use).

Vacation in the Knüll Nature Park for up to 30 guests

The vacation farm is rented as a group accommodation exclusively for a group of guests who belong together. For arrivals of more than 16 people, each additional guest costs €25 per night. (To be paid on site upon arrival) Family meetings, seminar groups, workshops, groups of friends and choir camps use the entire house and courtyard with outdoor seating and play barn. Small children can play safely in the fenced yard. Scooters, bicycles, etc. may be brought along.

Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burgwald and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful trips to Marburg or the nearby Edersee from here. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
