Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Fries

Cathy was super sweet. She let us check in early and I was so thankful! They introduced themselves and were so kind. House had easy check-in. You could hear some noises from upstairs during the day, but it wasn’t bad. Always quiet at night! Bed was soooo comfy too!

My friend and I visited West Jefferson to attend a 3-day art workshop at the Florence Thomas School of Art. The Uptown Loft was conveniently located near the school and the it was delightful to be right in the downtown area to explore the city and find good dining experiences. The Loft itself was true to how it was described and well stocked with amenities. Very clean and well furnished. We would definitely consider staying again if we re-visit West Jefferson. Thanks Ken.

Great spot - very convenient if you're wanting to walk everywhere in downtown Mt Airy. Very comfy and perfect for a couple (there is a Murphy bed if you need space for more but wr didn't use it). Everything was clean and well-stocked. The bed and couch were both very comfy and the shower was great. As other reviewers have mentioned, the upstairs neighbors' footsteps are very noticeable. This is completely out of the owner's control, so the review isn't being impacted. But it should be taken into consideration if you're hoping to sleep in. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here!

Honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! It was super cute and clean and right in downtown so it was very convenient to walk around and explore!

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in West Jefferson staying in Mark's vibrant, comfortable 3 bedroom apartment above his food store. We had everything we needed and loved having a real kitchen. The location is outstanding, easy walk to great food, the Parkway Theater, and plenty of shops to poke around.

We stayed for one night. The neighborhood was nice. The house was cute and well appointed. Found out after getting there, this town has a lot of history. Went on a Sunday so not much was open but enjoyed driving around. The home was decorated so nicely. Everything you need for your stay was available. We cooked dinner and breakfast and anything we needed for that was there. Loved sitting outside listening to nature. I took a card to stay here again on our travels.

Second time staying here. Friendly reliable host and the house is in a nice private quiet setting. Decorated for the season too!

We just returned from another wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. This was our fourth stay at Cathy's cabin, and it never disappoints. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and well laid out, and the view out over the valley below is stunning. We have never had any problems or complaints, which is why we have made it our favorite spot to stay when up in the Blue Ridge area. We will be going back.

Amy's place is a clean, comfortable two bedroom home on a very quiet and secluded gravel road, only 10 or 15 minutes away from Grayson Highlands State Park and the wonderful Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, one of my favorite places in the southern Appalachians. The house has everything one needs for a highly pleasant getaway. I'm a repeat customer.

As always, Cindy and Mitch were the perfect hosts. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel right at home at Brushy Fork Haven. Cindy takes the time to make sure your stay is perfect by having extra blankets and pillows available, a great selection of DVD's if the Roku TV isn't enough, a variety of games for family game night, a well appointed kitchen for cooking and baking (if you choose to), as well as extra necessities in the bathroom in the event that you forgot anything. You literally have to walk in the house and unwind - because even Walmart in Mount Airy will deliver your groceries to the front door. You will never be disappointed at Brushy Fork Haven!

Taryne is a great host! Exactly as described and it was perfect. Close to the town - about a 5 min drive. I battled with the WiFi, sent a text and she responded immediately. It’s a gorgeous house and love the layout with the two en-suite bedrooms. Gorgeous view, everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and wouldn’t look for anything else if I come to West Jefferson again. Thank you for being a great host, Taryne.

We’ve stayed at Mark of Design many times! We enjoy the beautiful & peaceful setting of the horse farm. In addition to watching the horses in the fields, we saw deer, wild turkeys & rabbits. It is also very convenient for restaurants in downtown Hillsville, as well as nearby Galax & Mt Airy.
