Holiday rentals with a patio in Frutigen

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment! The location was perfect — peaceful, convenient, and close to everything we needed. The place was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was smooth and very responsive, which made everything so much easier. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to come back!

Very nice apartment in a nice setting, very clean and convenient. We were with two small children and it was very good. The train station and the city center are easily accessible on foot. Very helpful and friendly hosts.

The view is amazing and very quiet, which makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals. Michael is a great host, very responsive and gave clear instructions, so the check-in was very simple and smooth .

Lovely apartment, nice and modern with all the amenities you need. Hosts were very responsive and communication was easy. It was warm when we stayed 25degrees peak temperatures and the upstairs loft area did stay very warm at night but a fan is provided. The location was a little far for us to travel to Grindelwald and Jungfraujoch- doable just long days so we feel the location is better suited to explore Oeschinen and Thun areas! Overall though we had a great stay and would recommend the apartment.

Stefanie is so responsible, helpful and good human being as a person. She is there in every moment instantly as we need. Her place is amazing and so clean. Oh ! the view from the balcony is so so breathtaking and picturesque. Felt home. Would eagerly love to come again and again.

The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous view of the mountain and waterfall. I highly advise arriving via car. The bus runs hourly and if you miss it, your either waiting another hour or walking uphill. The place is very conveniently located to a little shop for basic groceries and there is a Coop if you take the correct bus. Be mindful of which buses are going where and when if you don’t have your own transportation. We did have an issue with cigarette smoke coming in the windows. Our host was wonderful and asked the other guests to use their other balcony. That resolved the issues. There aren’t any fans of any sort in the home, so if you close the windows up while you’re gone, it will be hot when you get back and take some time to cool down. The included guest card was great for free local transportation and discounts on excursions. Overall we had a great time!

First, I would like to thank the owners of the house, who are very nice and cooperative The place is very beautiful in the village of Idliboden. The view is very beautiful. The pictures did not show that, but the accommodation in general is beautiful. There is only one problem. The smell of chicken in the basement is annoying and the flies because of the cowshed are annoying. I hope to open windows in all the windows of the house.

Very nice and clean place, with everything you need for a confortable stay in a wonderful location. Lovely views. Hosts are helpful and always ready to support. The access is steep and narrow, to be done on foot, though it is well described in the publication so you know about it before booking, no surprises. I defintetly recommend it and would love to go again soon.

Everything as described. Despite key box, immediate personal contact. Vegetables and herbs in the garden. You could learn for your own garden. Great.

Judith's home feels like home!Clean and warm.My parents are living happily.There are farms nearby that raise cows and chickens, and the neighbor's little orange cat runs into the garden and borrows Judith's bike to go around the neighborhood.Very special experiences

I just experienced the best three nights of staying at an Airbnb. I would like to begin with how Andrea helped me plan my itinerary in Switzerland without even booking her place. She was so helpful in chalking out my plan, ways to get there, local recommendations, etc. Her house is magnificent, so tasteful. Her house feels like an ultra luxury stay with most amenities one might need. My kids were so happy with the toys, books play station at her place. The location of her place makes an excellent base to explore lot of neighbouring area in central Switzerland. She recommended some great local attractions which were a delight to visit. Her house is so serene located right next to an open field. I really enjoyed stargazing sitting outdoors sipping some lovely wine. I would rate this stay a 1000/10. I would choose to stay here over any five or seven star property. Her place is not just a stay but an Airbnb experience in itself. Will stay here again for sure.

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

Thank you Bruno giving me a great house for staying a week. The actual environment is same as the description photos. All clean, full provide bath essentials & kitchenware, easy walk to the train station & supermarket & ferry port. Lovely to living here. ❤️

It was close to the station, so it was good for getting around. I went earlier than the check-in time, but I was able to rest because you kindly guided me. They also paid attention to the washing machine mistakes I made, and even took pictures and explained them in an easy-to-understand way. I had a good rest with my mom in a good location. Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

I really enjoyed this place.

The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Beni & Romy. The apartment is idyllically located in the mountains and not far from the train station to Zermatt. It is clean, spacious and superbly equipped. Romy and Beni are great and very warm hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Manuela was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind—offering true 5-star hospitality from the moment we arrived. The house itself was spotless and beautifully arranged, with everything feeling fresh and new. All the amenities worked perfectly, especially the water heater and other heating equipment, which we appreciated even during our summer visit. During our stay, the weather was quite warm. While we chose not to open the windows to avoid flies, it would have been even more comfortable if a movable fan or a fly swatter could be provided in the future. That said, this is just a small suggestion, and it didn’t take away from the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect for exploring the Lucerne area, and everything we needed was available. Roger was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again!

Brian was a very friendly and welcoming host who went out of his way to make us feel at home. He greeted us with chocolate upon check-in and shared great local tips on places to visit, including attractions we wouldn’t have found on our own. At the end of our stay, he even helped us tidy up, which was incredibly thoughtful. We’d definitely stay here again!
