It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day in town, or get some time away to paint, write or reconvene with yourself, nature, or the one you love. (* NO HOT TUB has never worked & will NOT be working).

Time Capsule in the Sonoran Desert

Time Capsule is a unique experience in an space age module dropped in the middle of an 11 acres desert sanctuary and sculpture park, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. Enjoy the quietness of the desert in a safe environment located at just 35 minutes from downtown Tucson. Because of the refinement of the interior design we cannot accept any pet, service animal, nor children in the Time Capsule. Please note that check in is in person only and not later than 10:00PM. No exception!

Nestled at the foot of stunning Red Butte, Thunderbird Suite is southwestern decor with antique furniture. Just outside the glass doors, is a desert landscape of Saguaros & other Sonoran natural desert cactus & trees. Thunderbird is an independent, private suite added onto the main house, with a wall separating it. There is laundry available just next to the private bath with shower & tub. Self Check-in with Private entrance. Stunning panoramic views of the Santa Catalina Mountains and Pima Wash. Spacious guest suite with ensuite bath and all the essentials including private patio. Great location in the Northwest Foothills that gives a feeling of being in a tranquil retreat. We are situated 15 minutes from downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. In an hours drive you can be at Mount Lemmon for some skiing or cool crisp mountain hiking.
