Recently renovated and transformed from tea house to studio.Beautiful location in the heart of Ghent. At this location you can perfectly relax in the middle of the bustling city. The studio is within walking distance of the historic city center of Ghent. There you can enjoy a lovely terrace or explore the city on a romantic boat trip. The Green Studio owes its name to the many green elements that can be found there. The studio is equipped with all the necessities to guarantee you a great stay!

The studio is located in a quiet neighbourhood about 4 kilometers away from the city centre of Ghent. Check-in Monday - Friday: 18:00h check-out: 12:00h Check-in Saturday - Sunday: 14:00h check-out: 11:00h Day of check-in you can use the option to dropp luggage, parking space and bikes before 18:00h. Option available from 12:00h! We are both working as teachers fulltime during the week. We prepare and clean the rooms after the working hours. That's why our check-in starts in the evening.

In a 5-store old city center house build in the 1800s, the lowest streatlevel floor where then in those days the kitchen personal and the maids lived, is completely rebuild in 2022 to a 88m2 guest appartment with all comfort you need to make your visit to Ghent perfect. The location is exacly on the spot where untill the 1860 the old city gate “Brugse poort” was located, Private parking is possible on demand. Everything you want to visit is just a short walk away.

Imagine! Sleeping in the centre of Medieval Ghent

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

Situated in a quiet neighbourhood between UZ, de Sterre and Gent St-Pieters railway station; tram stop around the corner (line 3 towards Gent railway station and Gent city centre). Flexible check-in (contact the host) Public parking nearby. Ghent St-Pieters Station is 15 min. away on foot. If you want a pleasant stay in the most beautiful city of Flanders, I would say don't hesitate... this is the perfect base!
