Monthly Rentals in Golconda

Rebecca’s Air B&B was perfect! We had a wonderful weekend getaway! It is very peaceful and private! The accommodations were very welcoming. The place was well stocked! A variety of coffee pods, sweeteners and small snack items. Had a variety of cooking pots and utensils. They had charcoal for grill, grilling utensils and some very useful fire starting packs (as we arrived in a rainy weekend). They had magazines and brochures of local things to do. You could almost show up empty handed and still have a great weekend, except food… haha Lots of wildlife to be seen, and the trail lights that came on at dusk was a nice touch! Our favorite thing about Rebecca’s place was the sitting area around the campfire! Rebecca was very friendly and helpful.

Beck's Hideaway was a beautiful, relaxing retreat. My husband and I were just looking for a quiet, peaceful place to spend our vacation away from the hustle and bustle of our busy Chicago suburb and stressful work. I didn't expect to find so many nearby places to visit and things to do. The hideaway is nestled in a little hollow surrounded by trees. Very comfortable home with great air conditioning. The weather was unbearably hot and humid while we were there, but our stay was as comfortable as can be! The main bedroom is in the upstairs and unfortunately the shower is downstairs with only a soaking tub upstairs...although I hear that might be changing this Fall? It wasn't a problem for us as we just kept our clothes in the downstairs bedroom and slept in the delightful king upstairs. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again!!

Nice weekend getaway - exactly what we needed. We would consider staying there again sometime as well as recommend to others.

The place was very nice. We will definately stay here again. Jessica was very helpful with anything we needed. Being able to sit on the front porch and watch the barges on the Ohio River was amazing. The sunrise was like nothing I have ever seen before. I just fell in love with it all. A chair and small table might be nice for the back porch. My husband enjoyed sitting out there in the morning with his coffee where the sun wasn't in his eyes. Jessica was a great host!
