Monthly Rentals in Gordes

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

This is truly the absolute best spot to stay in the Luberon. You walk outside your door and are literally just steps to an incredible boulangerie, coffee spot, restaurants, history, and scenery that is awe inspiring. The decor was stunning. This is the rare AirBnB that is better than the pictures- and they were great already! We loved closing out the day with a glass of rose’ on the balcony watching the incredible scenery. The cold plunge pool was such a lovely experience- we are converts! Denis provided exceptional hospitality - he checked in to make sure we had all we needed and was such a treasure. He went above and beyond on his host duties. Our family all agreed this is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. It has so much character- you feel like you are in a castle- but with modern conveniences like laundry and a great kitchen! If you are even considering this place, book this special home! We absolutely loved the week we spent at Julie’s place- we had 3 small children with us who loved the toys (especially the legos for our 5 year old and the baby stroller for our 1.5 year old!) it felt like Julie had everything we needed there to be very comfortable. The home is so lovely- and the lot is very private and secluded. If we ever come back to Gordes, which was also so great, we would definitely stay at Julie’s!

Pictures of the terrace can’t possibly reflect how fabulous it is. Same for the primary bathroom views. And it’s all very private. Parking is easier than we expected—5 min walk to public parking—buy a monthly pass for 20 Euros, and you’re all set (thanks to Rogier for giving us that tip!). Gordes provides easy access to all of the villages of Provence. Definitely a 5-star stay and a 5-star experience.
