Cyclists will get their money's worth on the Leine-Heide cycle path, as it is about 800 m away. To escape the stress of everyday life and recharge your batteries, our surroundings are wonderful :)

Das Backhaus mit traditioneller Einrichtung, Holzofen, Schlafboden und ganz zeitvergessener Behaglichkeit liegt separat auf unserem Grundstück. Neben dem Wohnhaus befindet sich das moderne Badehaus zur ausschließlichen Nutzung unserer Gäste. In unserem Haus wird viel gelesen, philosophiert, guter Wein getrunken und sich um das Wesentliche im Leben gekümmert, Reduktion pur! Abenteuer statt Luxus.

Visit the beautiful half-timbered city of Wanfried in North Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner-Kreis and borders Thuringia. Here you can go hiking, walking, cycling, swimming, canoeing on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely newly renovated, equipped with a new kitchen as well as a new bathroom. Sleeping possibilities: A 1.60 m box spring bed and a sofa bed. In close proximity there is a supermarket, with butcher and bakery, a cafe, another bakery and a pharmacy. Breitenworbis is on the A 38 with a direct exit. The red construction trailer on our old farm on the outskirts of the village offers a great view. Time to come down and enjoy the simple life in nature. Room to switch off and stop. The spacious construction trailer has everything for a good simple life: washbasin, stovetop, fridge. In the double bed 1.40 cm or on the cozy sofa you can relax. Outside: Outdoor hot shower and compost separating toilet. In winter you shower in our separate apartment.

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for 4 people each, with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 sqm. We are located in the Südeichsfeld, a gentle low-mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, visiting the Worbis Bear Park or excursions to nearby half-timbered towns are popular excursion destinations.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
