Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gulf Islands

The CQ was exactly what we wanted. Private cabin on a quaint farm. We had everything we needed and Henny knows exactly what she is doing! Great location 15 mins max to anything on the island. Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The views were absolutely stunning from every window. The interior was sparkling clean and so thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, just minutes from Birch Bay State Park for peaceful beach walks. We saw so many great blue herons and bald eagles! Marie was such kind host and always very responsive. Truly such a luxurious experience.

Lisa’s place far exceeded expectations. Beautiful architecture surrounded by breathtaking scenery; peaceful and serene. She thought of every little detail, providing guests with every thing they would need for a short visit or longer stay. Lisa was very courteous, welcoming, and available for any questions. Her online communications provided clear instructions on everything from check-in to working the blinds. I highly recommend this mountainside oasis

My only comment is that is was very hard to find the place especially in the dark. Google maps took me to a neighbouring house and it was very confusing. That being said I didn’t fully ready the hosts instructions so she may have mentioned that! Wonderful place though, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay - private, quiet, and relaxing. The home is well-appointed, with so many wonderful books to dive into. We enjoyed coffee on the deck listening to the ocean waves and our kids loved exploring the beach for shells and crabs. We highly recommend Strait Surf house for your visit to the Olympic area. It’s off the beaten path, but so worth it. Molly is a great host!

Fantastic time here! Private getaway cabin with a unique outdoor sauna made this place extra special. Comfortable beds, and great space. We plan to come again :)

Fantastic from start to finish.... beautiful views, Tanya was helpful and proactive and our stay was totally hassle free... Best views of the valley below with deer, bunnies, hummingbirds all around at various times of the day... very peaceful and we would love to return again in the future.

We stayed here to get ready for a 6:00am ferry. The space was spotless, well organized, and very homey. There is a boat launch just down the road that was nice for a short walk after a long car ride. We are in the middle of a bathroom re-model and liked the bathroom flooring so much that we asked the host what tile they used. They got us the info and were so helpful! Thanks for a nice stay.

The place was clean and cozy. Bathroom is big and filled with supplies. I stayed for two nights to visit someone in Coquitlam and I drove there. Location is convenient for everything. Host was nice and friendly. Although the big construction site next to the house started early like 7 am, I was out most of the day. So it did not create big issues for me.

Two words gorgeous views!!! Looked forward to having my cup of coffee on Kelley & Kent’s patio every morning. A very peaceful location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ganges, but still less than five minute trip into town. Both Kelley & Kent were very welcoming and accommodating to our early check in. Their air bnb had all the amenities you could need to make you feel right at home. Beds were super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed! :) Enjoy!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we stayed at ever! The view was breathtaking and absolutely unique. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the surrounding area was beautiful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo in a perfect location for our trip. Easy to navigate area, grocery and other necessities nearby. Absolutely peaceful environment and always felt very safe. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful stay at this unique cozy space. Comfy bed, special welcome treats, helpful recommendations & instructions, and a fabulous sauna! Steve & Cindy were extremely responsive in all communications & were generous & warm hosts. Highly recommend.

My group (4 adults) had a fantastic stay at Wayne's apartment. The apartment was spacious, well equipped (women's hygiene products, bathrobes, etc.), and very centrally located. Wayne was also very helpful in fulfilling a few of our requests such as providing us with a fan and an early check in. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable, central place to stay in Victoria.

Great apartment, great location, really communicative hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here. One thing id note is that the sofa bed is not a typical sofa bed, its more a sofa with the back pillows removed. With that said, I definitely would recommend the airbnb as it was a wonderful stay.

Our stay was amazing!! Christina had snacks placed out for us which we loved, the heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, temperature in the room was great, we really enjoyed the hot tub on sight and the restaurant within walking distance. We went for a walk on the nicely maintained walking trail beside the ocean, and then sat by the propane fireplace and watched the sun set. Lots of available covered parking, wish we stayed longer to try out the pool and other amenities. We loved our stay and would give 6 stars if possible, would stay again

We felt very welcome into their vacation condo. The details made towards insuring our comfort, down to bottled water upon arrival and more was much appreciated. A bottle of white wine and Godiva chocolates were placed on the kitchen island along with the parking cards...a nice welcome to the condo. The unit was very clean and cozy. The convenience of walking to Father's Day brunch and later to dinner was perfect. Sherri and Dan sent a lengthy welcome message to us 48 hours prior to arrival, listing the restaurants, coffee houses and their proximity. The communication was great. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Conveniently located and overlooking the water, the apartment was very well appointed, clean and very cozy. On a cold evening, we enjoyed warming our feet by the outside fireplace. We’d recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend some time in Port Renfrew.

Above and beyond our expectations, attention to detail & made our visit so comfortable ! They were always present to our needs & felt at home! An excellent vaycay!! We give it a 5 plus stars!!!

This is our second time staying at this airbnb and we love it so much! The hosts are amazing, really understanding and super responsive. The place is super clean and well thought out. The perfect place to bring young kids with lots of supplies already there (highchair/pack and play/kitchenware/toys). The location is also amazing so close to the beach and the resort has lots of fun kid friendly amenities. We are definitely making this spot an annual trip! Thank you Nikki & Jenn!!

Beautiful place right on the ocean. It was great having the heated pool, hot tub and kids play area. A short drive to great cafes and bakeries.
