My vacation home is located in the climatic health resort of Bärnkopf, a small place in the middle of the Weinsberg Forest at almost 1000 meters above sea level. The sun shines here very often while the fog hangs in the valley and the nights are starry. There is a good infrastructure - a shop, a tavern, many hiking trails, a swimming pond and in winter an extensive cross-country ski trail network. In the immediate vicinity you will also find Rappottenstein Castle, the Arbesbach Bear Forest, the Ysper Gorge and of course a lot of untouched nature.

Our old, former farmhouse is located in Burgschleinitz, a pretty village with a medieval moated castle and Romanesque church between the Wald- and Weinviertel near Eggenburg. Cozy, south-facing and quiet kitchen-living room. Sleeping area with curtain can be divided. Bicycles, canoes, kayaks, sand playground, table tennis table and the sauna with bath and outdoor shower are at your disposal. Time out from everyday life

EVERYONE is welcome!! Comfort and relaxation in the LOG HOUSE on the forest clearing. Dogs are also welcome. Breakfast is included in the price. For NÖ-Card holders, but also without a card, we are very central to various destinations such as Sonnentor, Noah's Ark, Kittenberger Adventure Gardens and much more. Winter closure from January 7th to February. February to Easter holidays limited operation. The house is alive, so noises (e.g. woodworm) and animal visits (e.g. ladybugs) are possible.

Accommodation: Our historic house from the 15th century is located in a quiet location in the old town of Krems / Donau-Stein. The approx. 30m2 apartment is located directly in Stein's old town - an ideal location for a visit to the various museums close by or a day trip with one of the many ships up the Danube valley - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the vibrant city centre of Krems with its coffee shops, confectionaries and bars and the Campus Krems are within walking distance.
