Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Haarlem

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Jan and Inga's place was a great place to stay. it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! It was also within easy walking distance to the center of town. Jan recommended the Restaurant de Hoofdtoren to us for dinner and it was fantastic. We went every night! Hoorn is such a cute town to stay in also. I would recommend this Airbnb.

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

Haico’s place was amazing! It was so beautiful and private! Felt like we were in a fairy tale! Haico and his family were so friendly and helpful! The Airbnb is right a bus stop which takes you in and out of the city! Will definitely be back! 🥰

The apartment is beautiful, tidy and everything was working perfectly. The location is great, close to local bars and restaurants, and also close to the beautiful dome of Utrecht. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

What a fantastic place to stay! Ruben and his team were terrific, very helpful and responsive. The location is perfect for both walking and public transport (there are three tram stations ~500m). The house is just as described and very well stocked. Plenty of options for cooking and coffee. Even though the neighborhood is only a block off a busy tourist area you would never know it when you step out on to the street. Quiet and private it was just what we look for in a rental. Thanks again for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning!

L' alloggio corrisponde perfettamente alle foto e alla descrizione. La casa è attrezzata con tutto il necessario, soprattutto la cucina e venendo in aereo dall' Italia questa cosa è stata molto apprezzata, abbiamo solo dovuto comprare il cibo (il supermercato è a 5 minuti a piedi). La zona è tranquilla,piena di verde,il parcheggio è gratuito e proprio sotto casa. Chris è stato gentilissimo e ha risposto sempre velocemente dandoci informazioni utili .Il check-in è stato veloce e c'è stata molta flessibilità sull'orario,anche per il check-out. Nieuw Vennep è un ottimo punto di partenza per tante città e località,se affittate la macchina.

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! The house was great. The location is very good, but if you are going to stay here, it would be useful to have a car. There is a private entrance to the house. The owner "Kim" is really interested and communicates quickly. We thanks her very much. Everything was perfect.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Yvonne’s beautifully designed apartment. It was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped inside and out. The peaceful setting made it an ideal home base for exploring the area’s rich nature, history, and culture. Yvonne and Rob were such kind and welcoming hosts — we truly appreciated their generosity and hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely apartment, very spacious and clean, super nice and considerate host, great views of historic Leiden (including the windmill!), close by all the sights in historic Leiden, wonderful outside patio. Would definitely stay there again!

We hebben zó genoten van ons verblijf! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en voelt heel luxe aan. De keuken is ruim en volledig uitgerust – we hebben er met veel plezier gekookt. Ook de douche en het hele huis zijn comfortabel en ruim opgezet. Het uitzicht op het groen was echt fantastisch. Je komt meteen tot rust. Elke ochtend en vaak in de avond maakten we een wandeling door het mooie bos met bijzondere vogels en herten. De host was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Altijd in voor een praatje en we vonden het erg gezellig. Als we iets lekker vonden ruiken, kregen we spontaan iets te proeven, zo lief en attent! Kortom: dit is een absolute aanrader, of je nu een paar dagen of langer wilt verblijven. We komen hier graag nog eens terug.

Perfekte Lage. Man ist mitten im Trubel und hat dennoch eine kleine Terrasse nach hinten raus mit absoluter Ruhe. Top gepflegt alles . Wir waren ganz begeistert und Ivar hat sofort auf Fragen reagiert. Vielen Dank

Heel fijn verblijf gehad! Warm welkom, laagdrempelig contact met Vincent. De accomodatie ligt midden in het centrum, maar wel in een fijne rustige omgeving. Tof om te horen dat de plek ook al zolang van de familie is! Verder van alle gemakken voorzien, dus zeker een aanrader voor een aantal dagen Alkmaar.

Wir haben zu zweit drei Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft gewohnt. Das Zentrum von Zaandam ist fußläufig (20 Minuten) oder mit dem Fahrrad (5 Minuten) zu erreichen. Nach Amsterdam braucht man mit dem Bus einen knappe halbe Stunde. Yafit und Jerry sind sehr herzliche Menschen. Yafit hat uns am ersten Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück gemacht und zur Begrüßung standen kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben es geliebt abends, nach einem langen Tag, ein Bier auf der Außenterrasse unter Lichterketten zu trinken. Unser persönliches Highlight der Wohnung ist die Badewanne, welche im Badezimmer durch eine Öffnung in der Wand zu erreichen war. Absolut gemütlich!!

In der gemütlichen Wohnung haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Monice und Pascal war super freundlich und bereitgestellte Infos äußerst umfangreich, so dass wir u. a. schnell einen kostenfreien Parkplatz in der Nachbarschaft finden konnten. Der Bäcker gegenüber hatte leckere Brötchen und Alkmaarscentrum ist fussläufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt genau an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzung, aber irgendwie - und ich bin sehr hellhörig und lärmempfindlich - hat dieser nicht gestört, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Charlotte ist eine zuvorkommende und hilfreiche Gastgeberin. Bei Fragen war sie für uns immer sehr gut erreichbar. Ihre Wohnung war prima geeignet für unseren Kurzaufenthalt und wir haben Utrecht via Mietrad bequem erkunden können. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wir genossen auch die Aussicht von der Terrasse. Und auch wenn die Wendeltreppen trotz vorhandener Handläufe eine tägliche Herausforderung darstellten, würden wir auf jeden Fall zukünftig wieder bei ihr anfragen.

We had a wonderful stay! It’s in a great location near so many food places and great stores. Everything is pretty walkable which made it nicer for our stay. I would stay here again !

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Gospodarz wypełnił lodówkę niespodziewanym poczęstunkiem napojami oraz winem, co nas miło zaskoczyło. W mieszkaniu było dużo miejsca, było ogólnie ładnie. Troszkę zmarzłam w nocy, ale w gorące dni będzie super. Słychać było kroki mieszkających nad nami oraz jak ktoś używa wodę, ponieważ dom jest dawno wybudowany. Napewno bardzo ładny ogródek. Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Gospodarz.

Super Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung in optimaler Lage zum Strand und der Promenade. Sehr ruhig. Sehr freundlicher und netter Kontakt. Liebevolle Einrichtung mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten. Küche mit Kaffeevollautomat. Kaffee, Marmelade waren sogar dabei. Parkplatz in der Nähe. Hatten das Auto allerdings während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht bewegt. Mit Rad und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln war alles gut und einfach zu erreichen. Wenn es überhaupt was zu bemängeln gab, ein paar Hacken für Jacken innerhalb wären gut. Meerblick hat man von der Wohnung nicht, aber einfach ums Eck und schon war man da. Fazit: Wir waren das erste Mal hier in der Gegend. Wenn wir wieder mal hier her wollen, auch gerne wieder diese Wohnung.
