Cottage holiday rentals in Hakuba, Kitaazumi District

Great house for me and my 6 friends. Walking distance to the town, roughly 10 minutes Rubbish was always grabbed if put in the outside bin. Great communication Host come and cleaned house half way through our stay and also restocked towels and kitchen

夫婦で1泊利用させていただきました。ちょうど紅葉の見ごろで、あたり一面紅葉が色づきとても落ち着いた環境でした。 都内から離れ本当にリラックスするのにぴったりで、夜は久しぶりに熟睡できました。外のテラスも広く、綺麗な空気の中でいただく朝ごはんは格別でした。 食器や布団等も大変清潔。連休でまた利用させていただきたいと思います。

I had a great stay at Kim and Machiko's cottage. They were very friendly, and Kim in particular spoke to my wife and I for a long time on various subjects, in English. I hope to visit them again soon.

Koichiro was a great host and very accommodating. The house was lovely and very comfortable for 2 couples. Location was great and only a short walk from all the shops in echoland. Had a few resort shuttle buses nearby to choose from. We had a wonderful time and will sure be back again.

建物自体も新しい印象で、とても清潔でした。同じ敷地内には同タイプのコテージが6棟ありますが、お世話になった日にちは他のコテージに宿泊者さんがいなかったこともあり、とても静かで落ち着いた環境です。 乳児と宿泊したのですが、オムツ用のゴミ箱やベビーベット（つかまり立ち後は使用非推奨のタイプ）もあり、助かりました。寝室も遮光のロールスクリーンが窓に設置されているので、快適に眠れます。 また愛犬用のペットシート、トイレトレイ、お皿、消臭スプレー等も完備されていたお陰で、荷物も少なく済みました。 また軽井沢、御代田方面に伺う際は宿泊したいです。 改善されると有難い点は、 ・Wi-Fiの速度：リモートワークでオンライン打ち合わせをするには厳しい速度でした。Netflixなどを再生するにも映像が停止しがちです。 ・電子レンジ使用可の食器の用意：食器が全て電子レンジ不可のため、お惣菜や牛乳を温める際に不便を感じました。

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience! The accommodation was very clean and spacious, perfect for two people. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was also nicely maintained. While the location is in a residential area and not close to major tourist spots, I found this to be a plus for a peaceful and quiet stay. Having a car made it easy to explore the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had across many countries and years. Had a group of six of us stay. Patrick coordinated with us to pick us up from the station, offered to drive us to gather groceries, and made time to drop us off when we left. Took time to make sure we were comfortable, understood how to use the homes features, and gave us plenty of information on what to do in the area, even down to giving us updates on mountain weather each morning and making recommendations on which ski field to go to each day based on changing weather conditions. He was invaluable and a super friendly and helpful host. Thanks mate! See you next time!

Patrick was always very responsive and helpful even he was note in Hakuba by that time when we were staying . The place is clean, comfortable and with a well equipped kitchen. The cottage is located in a convenient location, close to many restaurants and all local amenities. We were quite enjoyed in our stay and will definitely consider to come back again.

とても素敵な宿でした！部屋は快適でとても過ごしやすかったです。また周りは静かでその中でのBBQは格別でした！スタッフさんも親切でとても良い旅ができました！また行きます！

宿は周りに建物がないため自分たちだけのプライベートな空間でゆっくりくつろげることができました。中も清潔に保たれていて良かったです。 また、事前のやりとりでたくさん質問してしまったのですが、毎回丁寧に対応していただいてとても助かりました。

The cottage was in a perfect location and within walking distance from plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as the shuttle bus stops. Vaughan and Mayumi have equiped the cottage with everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home. Would absolutely look to book here again if we ever make it back to Hakuba.

Absolutely the best Airbnb we have stayed at, felt welcomed as soon as we arrived, Sachiko was super helpful and very accommodating.

Clean house with quiet location. Very relaxing vacation.

Nice little house. We were 4 people and found it a little cramped considering it catered for 6 people. Could do with another lounge chair as there was only seating for 3 people in lounge room. Also could have done with another toilet And there was no clothes dryer. Which meant we had to go to laundry mat. Saying all of that Desmond was very helpful and replied to me straightaway and was very helpful full.

What a delight it was to arrive at Ken’s place. After sleeping in a shared traditional Japanese house in Nozawa Onsen for 5 nights we really relished the modern elements in this super comfy house and BEDS! The timber panelling feels inviting and we loved the colour/design details. This was easily the best accommodation we had stayed in Japan and BIG. The heating was strong, perhaps too strong as it was hard to control the fan speed and amount of heat it throws even at low temp. The walk into Echoland village is beautiful and fairly close, but my 3 and 6 year olds found it too far. If it’s snowing it’s a long way. I would recommend a car. The Hakuba area is quite large and taxis are expensive and unreliable. Ken provided transfers to the station which was amazing!! The bath tub is superb, tv huge. The kitchen is small compared to the house but it has everything a traveller would need. The street is stunning with gorgeous trees and snow walls. A special place to be for any lengh of time

とても清潔で過ごしやすい空間でした。置いてある家具や食器類もおしゃれで洗練され、大変素敵でした。夜は星空も素晴らしく、静かな環境です。ホストは連絡もタイムリーにしてくださり、安心して滞在することができました。

Super nice place to stay close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Easy transportation to the mountains

We booked for only 1 night at first, but enjoyed the place so much we had to extend for another night! The place is just like as described. Because the furniture, kitchenware and amenities are from Muji, it made everything 100 times cooler. Peaceful and beautiful nature surrounding the house. We absolutely enjoyed the campfire on the patio!
