Cottage near "Yellow Pumpkin" in Seto Inland Sea National Park - Kai (Ocean Side) - Rental Cottage

This is a private cottage on the beach of Naoshima, a sacred place for art.There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the sea side building.You can use the free parking space on the premises, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, with 6 beds in the ground floor bedroom and up to 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, so you can stay between 6 and 8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used for family and friend trips, as well as for student training camps and seminar trips. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Yellow Pumpkin, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in a room with plenty of wood, handled by a local carpenter. We have also started a Naoshima sightseeing tour for guests staying at Ohana.There are many places where you need to make reservations in advance, such as museums in Naoshima, and I hope to provide you with more fulfilling Naoshima sightseeing, such as arranging tickets, transfers by car, and sightseeing in Naoshima by bicycle rental. You can get to our facility from Naha Airport and Naha International Airport in about 30-40 minutes by rental car or taxi. If you are using public transportation, you can come in about an hour and a half by connecting the monorail and bus. There are no convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance, so it is more convenient to rent a car. In the vicinity of the facility, Mibaru Beach also has a glass boat launch and a marine center! The ocean activities are amazing There are also♪ coffee shops (beach teahouses, mountain teahouses) and you can eat snacks♪ You can have a relaxing time in a place rich in nature, away from the city.

In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

"Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house surrounded by the nature of the Noto area. It's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto and it's about an hour by car from both, making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the Japanese-style room or the cozy open space. The bath is made of hinoki, Japanese cypress. When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The sea is also very close.
