Cabin is nice & cozy with plenty of room for the whole family. Bonus coffee bar also for all you coffee lovers. Open deck with fire pit. Perfect for secluded get-away or family vacation & near the beautiful Historic Natchitoches for Downtown shopping. Natchitoches is known for festivals throughout the year including their Christmas Festival.

Our newly renovated cabins are located 10 minutes from downtown Natchitoches, LA on 30 acres of gated property on Bayou Pierre. It is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. Upstairs the cabin has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft area with two twin bed, and also a living area, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. Come relax on the back porch on the swing. It is equipped with Satellite, WIFI, basic kitchen supplies, bedding, a grill, and more. We have trails to explore and a floating dock in the bayou!

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light. About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note the lake drawdown to control the salvinia weed has finished and the water is rising and should be at full pull by the end of January 2025, ready for fishing and kayaking!
