Monthly Rentals in Hartington

We have just returned from a wonderful family get together in Hartington. The cottage was a great space for 6 adults and our 9 month old granddaughter. It was fully kitted out for babies and young children even bath toys and utensils. We appreciated a beautiful walks straight from the cottage and a later check out. Thanks again hope to return.

A fantastic, cosy cottage in very peaceful surroundings. John and Vicky have thought of everything you might need and all the fixtures, fittings and equipment were of good quality. The extra little touches such as home made bread were also much appreciated. We walked for miles from the front door, and the lanes were very quiet. There are also several footpaths heading in all directions across the local fields. The location is perfect if you want to get away from it all, but also close enough to drive to local villages with pubs and cafes etc. John and Vicky are perfect hosts - always available when needed but left us to ourselves. Highly recommended!

We arrived as a family of 5 adults, split between 2 cars. All 5 of us thought the house wonderful: spacious, really clean, and stylishly furnished with a range of interesting adornments (some of which we could only guess at). The garden was ideal (safe) for our Corgi puppy. And photogenic Hartington was ideal as a base, with good food and some interesting walks from the door, others a short drive away. Phill was engaging before and after the holiday, and available to contact during the holiday if I had needed to. All of us agreed, if we come back to the area - and we hope to - we will look no further than this house and host.

Great stay at Kathy’s cottage. Perfect if you have a car and not far from hiking trails, farms, Buxton or Bakewell. Plenty of space in the house and seeing some farm animals nearby was always a plus.
