Monthly Rentals in Hassop

We had a lovely, long weekend stay at Chert cottage. Great Longstone is an excellent location, with several pubs within walking distance. Beautiful scenery is on the doorstep, with places like Bakewell and Buxton a short drive away. Sarah was an excellent host - she was very responsive and we really appreciated the cake, milk and flowers on arrival. Chert cottage itself was great - very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need - we particularly loved sitting out in the garden in the evening! Many thanks Sarah, we had a great time.

Great little cottage is a great location

Very walkable location! We stayed here because of chatsworth house and kept saying how much we love the area! The kitchen was stocked with essentials. The stairs were a little steep but nothing we couldn’t handle with a little bit of caution and the railing. Absolutely lovely stay! Thank you!

The wine, cheese, and crackers were such a thoughtful touch, The accommodation was excellent, and clean, with a lovely outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The mattress was really comfortable, even better than our own mattress at home. Having easy and accessible parking was great. Val gave us some fantastic recommendations — Curbar Edge was a stunning spot with beautiful views across the valley. We also visited The Chequers pub/restaurant and really enjoyed it — thank you for the tip! If we’re in the area again, we’d have no problems booking again.
