Apartment holiday rentals in Hastings

I had a really wonderful 7 weeks and 4 days at Lisa and Lee's first floor apartment in St Leonards-on-Sea, overlooking Warrior Square Gardens, with a lovely sea view from the lounge and balcony. On arrival, Lisa and Lee warmly greeted me and showed me around. Everything was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, with a very cozy and comfortable feel. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the sea front. A very memorable stay and I'm definately looking forward to returning soon. We had a lovely stay at this lovely 2-bedroom apartment overlooking the sea. The photos were accurate and the view was just as stunning in person. As a family of four, we really appreciated the space—the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax. The hosts were responsive and helpful, always quick to reply to any messages. Although the weather wasn’t great during our visit, it didn’t take away from the overall experience—if anything, it’s a good excuse to come back and enjoy it again in better weather!

Carla and Pete were the perfect hosts. You knew they were on site should you need them but your space was perfectly private. The property was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped and contained a lot of helpful store cupboard essentials. The bedroom had the most comfortable bed I have slept in and good storage for clothes etc. Nice bathroom and great shower, with a good array of complimentary toiletries. The lounge area was very cosy. Comfortable sofa and dining room table overlooking the patio with sea view. Wi-fi etc was very easy to set up and worked well. Outside the patio is great with plenty of seating and colourful planting. The sea is just at the bottom of the garden and easy access to the promenade a couple of minutes away. The welcome hamper was both excellent and very generous. Both Carla and her husband were super-friendly and helpful and Danny (their puppy) was adorable. I would 100% recommend this property and would love to return for another holiday.

Fantastic place to stay in Hastings. The photos don’t do it justice - such a nice calm and historic feeling space and really sympathetically restored. We loved the art and decor. Amazing central location too. Recommend!

A wonderful apartment and Lauren is fantastic at communicating. The apartment felt larger than we expected probably because of the lovely high ceilings. The place was super clean and it was great to find milk bread and other basics already there. The lounge area overlooks the sea, which was lovely, though there is a road in front. It was great to be able to just pop across to the beach and we had a fabulous meal at The Farmyard at Lauren’s recommendation. This and others are just a short walk away. St Leonards and Hastings both have a bit of a gritty edge to them, but that also means lots of interesting independent and unusual shops, which we love, and are sadly missing from so many high streets now. Highly recommended.

A great stay! Dan was super helpful and proactive giving clear instructions. Small touches to the property really made all the difference, would recommend. Great parking support & really helpful communications.

We had such a lovely stay in this very central and cosy flat. Really nicely decorated with all the essentials for cooking. A very generous welcome basket. Great shower and really comfy bed with a cute terrace just outside the bedroom.

Deborah was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions I had about the area. Her apartment is beautiful with lovely sea views and was really welcoming and comforting. We had a wee accident with the sofa and Deborah was super understanding and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this flat more! The area is super lovely, lots of independent bars and restaurants and only a 25 min walk from Hastings

Absolutely beautiful property to relax and unwind. The apartment had everything we needed to make dinner and fully enjoy our stay. Having the beach right on our doorstep was a massive bonus! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and functional. Overall this was a very comfortable and happy stay! Thank you Warren

We are quite particular about where we stay when travelling around, and I’ve got to say, this property is a superb example as to how “AirBnB” should be done! It’s to an exceptional standard , with much thought and attention to detail into the essentials and nice to haves a guest may require. The fit out is superb, the location is as equally superb. Immaculate throughout, something we look for when booking a property to stay at. All in all, a superb stay, great value for money and we will most definitely be back again. We had a wonderful stay at Nicola’s flat. The space was beautifully presented and spacious - even more so in real life than the photos show - and was very clean. Nicola was also accommodating with our arrival time and offered great local recommendations. We hope to stay again!

We had a great stay at Lorna’s place! The location is the perfect distance close to Hastings and a short walk to St Leonard’s. Nice little shops close by and really close to the sea. The building is huge and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We all felt relaxed from the moment we got there! We hope we can visit again

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment. It had absolutely everything we needed. Sandra was a wonderful host, very responsive and made special accommodations for our requirements - nothing was too much trouble for her! There was a beautiful welcome basket, slippers, fluffy big towels provided as well as additional items in case you forgot something. The little touches really made us feel special and welcome. Everything is very well laid out and instructions are faultless from checking in to checking out. The apartment was SPOTLESS, I don't think I have stayed in a cleaner place ever. It was really a gem of a find on Air BNB and really reasonably priced. The local information was spot on and the location of the apartment was fantastic. Really a short walk to the beach and main high street. Hastings is very close and is a wonderful day out. We are so enamoured with the apartment we are already planning a return! We loved our stay at James’ flat. James left a very warm welcome for us when we arrived and had great tips for the local area. The flat was perfect for us with two kids, and is an easy walk to the rail station (and everything else in Lewes). A truly rare find on Airbnb. We hope to stay again!

Loved this cosy apartment in beautiful Rye. Located on the high street but very quiet at night and easy to walk everywhere. Very clean and felt just like home. Would have loved to stay longer. A little secret gem in Rye.

Pebbleview is a unique spot in a beautiful location. The hosts were very helpful and communicative and did everything to make my stay comfortable. It’s a home from home.

We really enjoyed our stay in Paul's flat. The flat itself is very light and airy with lots of windows and lovely views over the park and out to the sea. The place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay. Self check-in and out was very straight forward and easy, Paul's instructions were clear and we had no issues. Flat is in a nice location, right next to a park and walking distance from the train station and everything around town. Note it is on the top floor of the building with no elevator, with some stairs inside the flat also - not a problem at all for us but perhaps something to consider if mobility is an issue. Overall we would highly recommend Paul's place and would happily stay again next time we are in St Leonards.

This is a beautiful home from home, it felt like staying with friends. We visited at Easter and there were two chocolate rabbits waiting for the kids, which was a lovely touch. The kitchen, living area and main bedroom are spacious and this is a great area. Close to the beach, train station, bars and restaurants. A lovely stay and we’d go back again.

BRILLIANT! What a fantastic place! We felt right at home and loved how roomy it was. The garden area is a massive bonus and just beautiful. The bath was excellent, as was the shower and the bed were super comfy. So wonderful to have ample room for a family of five, which included 3 adult sized kids! Everything you need, plus more! HIGHLY recommend!

This apartment was one of the most comfortable and considered I have stayed in on Airbnb. Lovingly put together, the interior is attractive and detail orientated, and made us feel very at home. The location couldn't be better, we had a great time and excellent stay.
