Charming private room in a farmhouse

Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas erhöht über dem Ort Zell im Wiesental, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bahnhof sind in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Es ist eine landschaftlich reizvolle Gegend mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad, mit dem Auto oder öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.

The A5 and A98 highways can be reached in no time, Basel and France can be reached in just a few minutes! The accommodation is designed for two people, Not suitable for children.

Beautiful one room apartment with fantastic views of Rheinfelden at the foot of the Dinkelberg. A large outdoor seating area in the garden with sun loungers and covered dining area invites you to linger. Bed linen and towels are provided. WiFi is freely available. There is free parking right in front of the apartment.
