Convenient location. Spacious and clean. Love the sea life wall murals. Comfy. Great pillows! Very clear instructions. We felt welcomed. Mahalo!

This unit is in a great location for restaurants, shopping and morning runs. The condo was equipped with everything we needed including chairs, towels and a cooler for beach day. The beds were super comfortable too. There is also a great view of Mauna Kea when the clouds aren't completely engulfing the summit. I would definitely recommend Jenny's property to friends & family.

The location of this place is unbeatable. I love that it was super affordable and within walking distance to most things. We barely drove at all which was a nice change from our last place on the Kona side. WiFi was fast (we both worked remotely and were on Zoom meetings), and the kitchen was functional enough for quick bites to eat. I would stay here again. However, if you can’t sleep in the heat or need air conditioning/a cool space to reside in, this is not the place for you. It was always warmer in our room than it was in the hallway or outside. The shower is also very tight, so if you are in a bigger body or need to bend down, be prepared to have very limited space.

My fiancé and I were only there a night, but the proximity to Volcano National Park was unbeatable! We were able to drive to see the volcano while it was erupting very easily from this rental. Beautiful kitchen as well! I would highly recommend if you’re interested in staying close to the park!

We were very happy with our studio! Very clean , surrounded by beautiful plants and tons of different flowers. We had our dog with us and she had fun too. Being able to do our laundry was a great benefit and blessing. Jacob was very friendly nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Loved this place so much! Light, bright and airy. Super comfortable bed and linens. Close and easy to walk to food and things. Great host. Wish I had been there when Paul’s Place was open! 10/10 would recommend and want to come back and stay again!

Amazing location and great hosts! Had a great time at Kathy's place - perfect spot to explore the east side of the island. It's close to downtown Hilo, and both Volcano National park and Mauna Kea are a little over 30 minutes away. Would definitely consider again. One word of caution, sensitive sleepers should bring earplugs - the house is in a residential area with plenty of wild chickens. They can get loud in the morning.

After our original accomodation fell through, we booked Marcos' place for two nights. Marcos and his family are very friendly hosts who shared fruits from their trees with us, as well as kitchen items from their own house for us to use, including fresh jalapenos and hot sauce that we used for our dinner! The place was enough room for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 12) and has a very large TV. The only downside was that the bathroom was located outside in another building but since we were in Hawaii we didn't mind, it would be the same distance as walking down a hallway.

Jennie was a great host, very friendly and responsive, always quick to answer all of our questions and recommend places nearby. The place was clean and nice and just as showed in the photos. Sometimes the outside noise would get quite loud, so might not be great for light sleepers or babies, but it's a great location right in downtown, very close to a lot of coffee shops, stores, bars and restaurants.

Diana was a very good host. the studio is good if you need shower and sleep. Location is close to alot of things. Will recommend.

Unit was as described and clean upon arrival. It had all the amenities that we needed and listed. The unit was older but so are many places in Hilo. It suited our needs and was close to everything. When in town again we would stay again if the unit was available.

The setting of this unit is incredible. You feel like you are camping in the middle of a tropical forest or jungle. It's really amazing. The location is nice too, about equidistant from Volcano Natl. Park and Hilo. I would just say be aware that it is more basic then your typical unit. Highly recommend!

Loved my stay at the gecko inn! Gets cool at night which is perfect for sleeping. Very comfortable and private area. 10/10 recommend! It’s minuets from the entrance of the national park

It’s quiet, tidy, and so close to the volcanoes park. The hosts are friendly and very responsive.

Nice base for exploring volcano national park. Not as fancy as some of the other listings but feels homey. The checkout and check in times are not as ideal as other places I’ve stayed in the area but host is very communicative and can accommodate early check in for extra charge.

This place is great. It is surrounded by trees so very quiet except for sound of the nature. Very spacious for 2 people. The location is not very far from the volcano (~40min drive) and Hilo, so I would recommend it to anyone waiting for the volcano eruption.

Great old Hawaiian B&B. We had a fairly plain room, which we expected for the price, but it was clean, and the main rooms with the delicious breakfast and the beautiful surrounding garden made up for it. Perfect location minutes from Volcano National Park.
