Barb is a wonderful woman who truly loves life. Her lifestyle deeply moved me and left a lasting impression. I absolutely loved her house—it felt so cozy and welcoming, just like being at home.

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.

Well that was a win! Chose Barb’s place due to the hugely positive reviews and its proximity to the marathon start line. It was the perfect place to stay - close to the event, beach front, restaurants and shops and Barb is an excellent host. Mr Bills, the dog, is next level entertaining (and very good). Barb makes you feel very welcome, relaxed and right at home in her charming, characterful home. The bedroom was spacious, well equipped and quiet and the bed huge and super comfy. Although not en-suite you have the immaculate bathroom to yourselves. Such an easy, lovely place to stay. Thanks Barb. We’ll be back!

A very comfortable stay, even for just spending a night. This place was very accommodating for travelers looking for rest- the location was peaceful and quiet, bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable and the hosts provided bread and butter. They also really do have the fluffiest chickens we’d ever seen 🐥

Chris & Owen were very friendly and helpful hosts - we enjoyed our weekend away at their place. They didn't bat an eyelid when we turned up with our hungry crying baby and were very helpful offering extra things for her like a portacot, toys etc. Many thanks again for having us, we had a great time and felt right at home :)

It was a pleasure staying in Nanette’s place for a couple of nights! She did my laundry while I was there as I made a last minute decision to head to Taupo with only enough clothes for one night. Extremely accommodating and easy check in

Nanette is amazing. She has a lovely place with everything you need for an overnight stay and more. She was so helpful collecting me from the bus and dropping me to my work location the next morning. Her breakfast was plentiful and beautiful, fresh made bread, yoghurt, muesli plus eggs bacon and sausage. The bed was comfortable. The only negative was the shower pressure was low but it is what it is. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m working in Taupo. Thank you

Our stay at the Savana estate was amazing, the view from the chalet is so worth it. Great location, stunning views and pleasant hospitality from the host, will def come back :)

Lovely stay, friendly helpful hosts, great breakfast spread

We felt right at home and very comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding, exceeding expectations and very generous. Thoughtful touches of night-light and chocolates. Lovely hosts who were very accommodating of children. The kids want to adopt them and come back again, scoring 100/5 🌟 in kid's language.

Like usual, Peta was really welcoming. She even put a desk outside for me, so I can draw while enjoying the sun.

Set in a beautiful location amongst the vines on a hill not far from the ocean. Very peaceful and calm. The studio is basic but tastefully decorated and seperate from the house. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. James is a friendly and helpful host who is very responsive.

Quiet and peaceful. A relaxing place to rest after our busy days harvesting at a local vineyard. Neta is a wonderful host. Highly recommend. The home cooked breakfast each day was awesome. We felt like we were at home. Thank you for your awesome hospitality and sharing your beautiful home. We look forward to staying again.

We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte and Stephen’s place. Perfect layout for what we needed. Gorgeous swimming pool and hot tub. We bought our 2.5yr old and they were very good with him and happy for him to roam. We had a lovely room and although the house is lovely and big, everything was in close enough proximity to be able to put the baby to bed and take the baby monitor to the dining area and games room while he slept. Perfect! Our boy loved the pool. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfy, I would have taken the bed home if I could. We also payed extra for the lovely means and so glad we did so as the food was perfect. Such a relaxing stay, we are sure to return. Thank you!

We loved staying at Kilmoylan. Heather is a fantastic, welcoming host and the room was spotless and beautiful, with a very comfortable bed. The location is beautiful, private and peaceful. We will definitely be back.
