Wonderful cottage in the middle of a beautiful orchard. Loved the bed and pillows. Spacious, warm and private. Tina was great host. Perfect place for me as I attended an event at Tuki Tuki Christian camp.

Diane's place is great, super house layout, great views and very peaceful.

The food treats from Pam were outstanding kept fresh and replenished. Pam's place is an easy walk from the centre of Havelock North, yet in a quiet side street. And the best aspect was Pam's friendliness and support, while respecting privacy. Thank-you Pam.

Muritai House was incredible, great views, super cosy with heated floors. The lakeside host, Amy was super accommodating/flexible and very responsive. Would definitely stay again, thanks!

Spacious, clean, fully stocked, great outdoor area for kids and heated pool! Whilst the above sums it up, the words don’t do it justice. This is a one of a kind grand accommodation with plenty of space and 2 bathrooms, fully stocked bathrooms and kitchen was very convenient! Heated pool was the highlight for our kids and we stayed in April, swimming 1-2 times a day! Nearly petting zoo is much better than another place just further afield. Highlight was the skate parks in the area - both Bay Skate and William Nelson Skate Park in Hastings were the hit!!!!! Orchard next door produces apples! Pets were another highlight for our children! really good value, typical kiwi bach from the 1970s. had everything you needed including a very well kitted out kitchen with a full size fridge freezer. the pictures accurately described the place. we loved the Woodburner. our dogs loved playing outside. great for big family trips as loads of space. thanks Jacqui 😀

We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

This venue was exactly what we were after. It is rustic, and cozy, and it was what we were expecting. It is dog friendly, which was great because we took our German shepherd. The bathroom is spacious and well set up. We kept our luggage there as well. The kitchenette had everything we needed: jug, microwave, electric frying pan, and outside at the wine bar a weber BBQ and an air fryer. Pete was fantastic and stocked the fridge with bacon, eggs, bread and butter, and a bottle of wine. It was incredibly thoughtful and generous of him, and we were delighted to make bacon and egg butties one cold morning! Pete also left a bag of dog treats which our girl would've devoured except she has a tightly controlled diet due to allergies. Again though, so incredibly thoughtful! Pete had also set up the brazier ready for a fire, with plenty of wood. We had two lovely evenings outside by the fire! Pete is a kind and thoughtful host, and so helpful! Would highly recommend.

Super peaceful stay near Wainui Beach! It was a 5 minute walk to the local cafe and beautiful Wainui Beach. The accommodation was exactly like the photos. The place was beautifully clean and super cosy! We enjoyed seeing Sam’s 2 dogs each morning and our dog had fun exploring around the fruit trees. Sam was so friendly and helpful! Will recommend her place to anyone visiting Gizzy!

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Fantastic stay at Wendy and John's property. Peaceful and private. Especially Impressed with how clean and tidy the property was. Very close to some excellent wineries. A great place to base yourself if visiting the Napier / Hawkes Bay region!

This was one of the best holidays we’ve had. As a family it was heaven for our child, and our wee family. Hayley and her family were amazing. The place was excellent. The pool was incredible. We had brilliant weather and swam at wainui beach - just a short walk or quick drive away - every day. Hayley had lots of recommendations for things to do, places to visit, and food etc. The place is perfectly laid out with everything we could want. Shops just down the road. Highly recommended venue for families and kids.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Neti & Kerri’s home! The house was really nice, clean, and cozy perfect for relaxing after the half marathon. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Neti & Kerri were incredibly communicative from the beginning and very helpful throughout our stay. We truly appreciated their attention and would definitely stay here again.

This place is so well equiped and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy. The location was great, close to Hastings town center but also very peaceful. Great set up for my family with small children as there was a portacot, highchair, toys and the trampoline and spa pool were a big hit with the kids. Would definitely stay here again.

I’m not quite sure where to start, as there were so many great things about this holiday home. Firstly, thanks to our host for providing such a wonderful space for my family to stay and create happy memories together. We absolutely loved our time here! The property is very well maintained, both inside and out. (I think it’s even better than in the photos). It’s spacious yet cosy, with plenty of room to spread out, as well as great areas to hang out as a family. The kitchen is an excellent size and very well equipped. Of course the plunge pool is an added bonus that we really enjoyed, especially after a busy day of activities around Taupo. We appreciated the location as it’s away from the business of central town but close enough to easily get there in a couple of minutes by car. The neighbourhood is lovely and we really enjoyed walking around it and down to the lakeside. We would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Taupo.
