Barritshayes Farm Cottages - Swallows Cabin

We had a fantastic stay. So relaxing with a lovely garden which our dog really enjoyed. The pool was great and Kathryn and family were very friendly and responsive. The local area is beautiful, with lots to do and so much nature, we even saw a tawny owl in the garden at nightfall :) we didn’t want to leave!

Old Maidenhayne Farmhouse Annex

StephRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is exactly what Airbnb should be like. Karen’s place is a home away from home, was spotlessly clean, had everything we could possibly need and was great value for money. Karen was extremely helpful and friendly, welcoming us and providing us with lots of ideas of things to do in the area. The kitchen was well thought out with everything a guest would need for a trip away, and there was even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which made us really feel like we were on holiday. The house is beautiful and really nicely decorated - beds were comfy, bathroom was perfect - we couldn’t fault it. Sign of a good Airbnb? We didn’t want to go home!

Cheerful and cosy two bedroom cottage

JanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A wonderfully peaceful place to stay. You can walk out down the lanes and also find fingerpost routes to explore. There are brooks and streams and fords to cross. Suzanne's cottage is spacious and very well appointed. I had every pan and utensil to prepare a meal. The shower was excellent and easy to use. The beds were so comfortable. We thoroughly explored Sidmouth and had an excellent meal in the Anchor pub. We ate from the blackboard specials fresh fish options. In Seaton we opted for Pisano and the staff were exceptional. You will need to book for the popular restaurants in the evening. Budleigh Salterton in a lovely place to wander round and we ate in Wesley's café , which was a lovely friendly place. We would love to stay again.

Luxurious eco-stay in rolling Devon hills

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

cosy annexe in woodland gardens

HelenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Wow what a fantastic place. If you want peace and quiet then this is for you.The surrounding gardens are so lovely .Our dog loved exploring the large garden .As for the accommodation it is very well equipped .It has a fabulous view from each window,in fact if you just wanted a day indoors reading a book or watching the wildlife then this is the place to be.Its also close to alot of the well known towns and beaches ,so if looking for a beach day this is also a good place for exploring the Jurassic coast. You get a very warm welcome (along with home made cake). And very responsible when it comes to the environment ,so if you are looking for a place that does its best for this then look no further. We will defiantly be returning .Thanks for a lovely 4 nights.

Summerhayes Cottage

IanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cottage is wonderful. We came to relax and spend time as a family and this cottage was perfect. Plenty of space, with a beautiful peaceful garden overlooking the fields, listening to the wildlife and watching the horses. We even saw deer wandering around. The cottage has everything that you need and is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Angela and Dan are the perfect hosts, lovely to talk to and could not do anymore for us. Already looking to return sometime next year.
