The place is so clean and spacious! Although I only stayed for a day, it was nice enough to make me want to stay a few more days. Thank you.

Everything was great. From beginning to end. :) Bernie is a great host. Our staff who stayed here were really happy and enjoyed their stay. We will definitely visit again!

We decided on the apartment at very short notice - the night before. Everything no problem, very nice and fast communication and flexible arrival. In the apartment, we felt very comfortable, everything you need and more - with a lot of attention to detail and very thoughtful. In addition to coffee, tea, flowers, and fruit, there was even a hot water bottle! And the two were always there for helpful tips or a quick chat. The only small downside: the idyll of the magnificent garden is somewhat disturbed during the day by the motorcycles that are on the road, as the property is located directly on the village road.

We spent a wonderful hiking week in the Spessart, the reason why we ended up in the Spessart and not in the Rhön or the Odenwald was: Exactly this apartment!!! There is hardly anything to add to the many previous positive reviews, it was exactly these that convinced us when booking that we had made the right choice with this apartment. We were able to start our hikes right at our doorstep, and we reached the starting points of the well-known hiking destinations in the Spessart, such as Lohr, Mespelbrunn or Kreuzwertheim, from Sommerkahl in 30 - 45 minutes. If we travel to the Spessart again, we will gladly come back to Thomas and Ulrich.
