Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

This 3-room apartment features a master bedroom, bathroom, small bedroom and a spacious living room with luxury kitchen with built-in appliances including a dishwasher. Within a radius of 100 meters, you will find numerous restaurants, cozy cafes and the main shopping street of the city. The station is a 10-minute walk away. In half an hour, you will be at Amsterdam CS. The beach can also be reached in 20 minutes.

A spacious summer house in a prime location! A perfect base for nature, culture, good food and shopping. The distance to the beach and dunes is 20 minutes by bike, and you can reach the city center of Alkmaar in 15 minutes by bike. Shops, (nice boutiques) restaurants and the station are a 5-minute walk away, making Amsterdam also easy to reach, 30 minutes by train. Everything within reach and yet experiencing the feeling of tranquility is absolutely applicable to this place.

Dichtbij kunstenaarsdorp Bergen. Studio heeft eigen ingang en leefruimte met 2 pers boxspring (M-Line matrassen) en keuken met koelkast en 2 pits kookplaat en eigen badkamer. The Old Factory “Energy Neutral Tinyhouse”

Our cozy guest house was converted in 2019 from an old aluminum factory to an energy-neutral tiny house of 40m2. It is free-standing in the backyard of our renovated house in Limmen. It is close to the dunes, the beach and forests. The larger cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are within driving distance. It is also easy to do by public transport, but having your own car makes it many times easier. With a bicycle, you can best enjoy the surroundings.

Ons gastenverblijf in het centrum van Limmen is geheel gerenoveerd in jan/feb 2024 met een geheel nieuwe badkamer. Het is een aangebouwd appartement (30m2) met eigen ingang en alle voorzieningen (AH, bakker, etc) 3min te voet. Het prachtige Noord-Hollandse duingebied en het strand (10min), maar ook ook Alkmaar(15min) en Amsterdam(30min) zijn goed bereikbaar. Parkeren kan aan de straat en is gratis. U krijgt een privé stuk tuin tot uw beschikking.

Fully equipped kitchen with oven. Wood stove, corner sofa and smart TV. Fixed loft ladder to the top (loft). Standing height upstairs is 1.30 cm! Double bed 1.80x2.20 cm. Rain shower/toilet. Not suitable for children. No pets. Smoking is not allowed.

It’s a stone throw away from the vibrant Cheesemarket and the bay window will provide you of an amazing view towards the medieval canals and the ‘Waag’ building, a national historic monument that’s located on Waagplein. Where you will also find the best local bars and restaurants. It’s close to several boutiques, restaurants and cafes can be found in the immediate vicinity.

Our apartment is located in the heart of the city, on the top floor in one of Alkmaar's most famous buildings. The building is known and famous for the many artists who have performed there. It is the ideal base for exploring the city and the region. On the ground floor you will find one of the best and trendiest restaurants in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water. The entire house is new and high-quality finished.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

Are you looking for space, tranquility, wonder and fun? Welcome to the Ganse Land. Here, you will find yourself in a different world. You will stay in a beautiful traditional Ger, furnished with authentic furniture. Private toilet, shower and kitchen, can be found in our cozy pipo wagon. An inspiring workshop of your choice (yoga, dance, singing, drumming, drawing/painting) is included.

It is beautifully located between the bulb fields in spring. Our accommodation is experienced by the children as very nice, close to dad and mom and yet their own place, parents have more privacy, there is an outdoor garden with a veranda where you can sit out.... photos to follow, it's just finished, ....cycling in the area is recommended, ( free bikes )
