Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Henley-on-Thames

Lovely home, with beautiful peaceful garden in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the river and less than 20 minutes walk into Henley. The house has everything you need and we were left a wonderful gift basket with fruit, snacks and drinks. There was even food and treats for our dogs! The house is clean, modern and was perfect for our stay. Ian & Trudie are fabulous hosts, very helpful, and quick to respond. Will definitely be back when we’re next in the area.

Thank Hillary for a great stay at the Happy Cottage! It was really nicely and thoughtfully furnished with lots of nice touches. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was really well equipped with all that you need for a lovely stay. The location is great; parking was easy and the walk into town very pleasant. The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely house, with a great outdoor space in a beautiful area. Plenty of room for all the family to enjoy. Close to a local pub and village store there’s everything you need for a short stay.

A lovely hideaway after a long working day and before a travel day. It was incredibly peaceful set amongst Nick's lovely garden, I felt right at home. Little touches like fresh milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were really appreciated. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer and explored the area more! Thank you Nick!

The most perfect house for our girlie weekend away. Firstly the house, garden and driveway was GORGEOUS, exactly as it was in the photos. The house had everything we needed to host for 15 of us and everyone was comfortable. The location of the house was perfect. It took us less than 10 mins by taxi to get into town. Ronan recommended us using Chiltern taxis who were incredibly responsive. Ronan was incredibly responsive during the booking process and when we stayed at the house. The manual we received covered everything we could have possibly needed! This house deserves more than a 5* review. Thank you so much Ronan! I will for sure be recommending to any friends and family.

Staying at Sarah's place was a wonderful experience. She is a great hostess! The place was very cosy and squeaky clean. We felt at home right away. It was exactly as it was discribed. The view was so beautiful, all so peaceful, a great getaway for a long weekend. If you like bird watching that's the place to be. Sarah had even accommodated for this by providing binoculars! The area is very beautiful and there are loads of paths to go for a walk. Her places-to- eat recommendations were to the point as well! Overall, an amazing stay in all levels! Thank you Sarah! I would strongly recommend!

The home was a great space to rest and relax. We were decompressing after a long journey and the home was perfect. The main living area and outside offers a wonderful space to enjoy yourself along with the BBQ and settings. You do step into a family home with all their life ready for you. Expired food in the fridge and things in the freezer do make you feel you are intruding on a family’s life. The dishwasher had dirty plates in it and the pans in the oven needed a wash. All could be remedied though. That said, the kitchen was clean as were the bathrooms. And to be clear, it was a very comfortable home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s! As a family with a baby and a young child, it was perfect, peaceful and well equipped for our stay. We particularly loved having breakfast provided there in the mornings, and the view was fantastic! It is a short walk to Marlow city centre and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely studio walking distance to river, coffee shops, local supermarkets. Lovely green to sit and have a drink. Station within 5 minutes walk to London or Windsor (which is 5 minutes on train) easier than parking. 15 minutes to Heathrow. Immaculate and clean

Frank was the best host I’ve had so far on AirBnB, he was fast to communicate despite the large time difference from the other side of the world. The Studio was perfect and exactly what I needed for my stay in Maidenhead, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice, private and cosy space away from the main streets.

Sara’s Studio flat is perfect, is in a quiet location, easily accessible has everything you need perfect for my needs while working away from home.

A fantastic, cosy place in a beautiful location. Kinvara is a perfect host, helpful and responsive and kindly left us a delicious cake. We enjoyed our stay, lots of great walks and pubs in the area.

Great location and perfect accommodations for our 2 night stay. Easy to walk to pubs and restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking available at the house was key for us.

My friend and I stayed at Ruth’s apartment for a catch up weekend. We absolutely loved the location - close to the river, with a great selection of lovely pubs / cafes and restaurants and easy access to loads of local walks. The apartment itself is very nicely done and has everything you could want. There was one allocated parking space that my friend used, and I easily found parking very close by. I highly recommend this wonderful pad! :)

Well this is my second stay at Max apartment, very clean apartment amazing and comfortable bed bathroom is superb. Whole apartment is nice and cozy felt just like home easy to get to clear instructions responsive host no hassle great Price and Amazing apartment once again.

Fantastic accommodation! Comfortable, cozy, very clean and well-maintained, perfect for business stays or medium/long-term visits. I stayed in this accommodation for a long-term stay and needed a space with a kitchen. The apartment truly has everything you need and more – it's very functional and equipped with thoughtful touches that make the stay really pleasant. The kitchenette and the kitchen area in general are perfect even for one person and well equiped. It's located in a convenient area, close to green spaces and the river, and just a few minutes’ walk from the city center. Supermarkets are nearby. Cathy is truly an exceptional host, always available for any need, very communicative, and quick to respond if anything comes up. A super positive experience – highly recommended, even for long stays.

Me and 3 others stayed here for two nights and used as a base for nirvana spa (5min drive away) was great location for that reason, Lucy was quick with responses and was kind to allow a later check out and also an extra car. The place is spotless and has everything you need. Would recommend

Susan is lovely and communicates very quickly, she met me on my first night and showed me around the apartment. She even left some snacks and some milk in the fridge for me which was a nice touch The apartment is immaculate, nicely furnished, very clean and well looked after, it felt very homely. Also something good to know is the entrance is completely separate to the rest of the house, which may not be obvious from the photos. The parking space on the drive is spacious, I was able to fit my van on there. I would happily stay here again.
