Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Heraklion

We had an amazing stay with George & Georgia and miss staying with them already. They are wonderful kind and helpful host and the view is so beautiful and peaceful yet so close to Heraklion airport and town. We visited with our two babies and they made sure we had everything we need. Always ready to help and giving us fruits and treats for our children they are so wonderful. 100m is a beautiful sandy beach. There is a delicious gyros from the grill and pizza 4 mins drive to the east it’s a Greek name but you will see locals there. The house is clean and spacious and cool even on hot days. We thank you George & Georgia and hope to see you again soon! For the price you cannot beat it. We recommend George & Georgia’s place to all.

We enjoyed our time at Maria's apartment. It's a two-floor house with two apartments on each floor. Each apartment had a separate entry, so we saw people living upstairs. No doubt, the main treasure of this place - the view from the terrace. We spent long evenings sitting on the terrace watching the sunset. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

Mein Partner und ich haben uns wirklich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und zuvorkommendes Team. Die Lage ist perfekt! 3 min zu Fuß bis zum Strand 👍🏼

10/10! Izabela ist wirklich die perfekte Gastgeberin und selten haben wir uns so wohlgefühlt! Es waren mehr als genügend Lebensmittel vorhanden (frische Säfte, Wasser, Eier, Käse, Wurst, Brot, frisches Obst, Nudeln, Marmelade und vieles mehr!) sodass der erste Einkauf gar nicht nötig war. Da wir kein Auto für den Zeitraum hatten, war besonders das Trinkwasser (mehr als genug!) Gold wert! :) Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, Izabela hat uns alles erklärt, Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und wir haben die Ausflüge dorthin nicht bereut! (Auch ein griechisches Mittagessen hat sie uns frisch gekocht vorbei gebracht, ein echtes Highlight! :) ) Hier kann man wirklich entspannen und zur Ruhe kommen und der Trubel der Stadt ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Eine klare Empfehlung!!!

Magdalena and her husband Marinos were extremely kind. They picked us up from the airport after our flight was delayed over 11hrs. They made us feel right at home and the fridge was stocked with an assortment of drinks, bread, meat & cheese. The place is very spacious and comfortable. Used the washer and air dried our clothes no problem. One of the bathrooms has a huge assortment of different products to use that were great. If we asked a question, it was answered right away. Feel like we have made life long friends here. So much hospitality! Would highly recommend this place.

La maison de Antonia et Stella est très pratique et vraiment très propre. Il y a une vue magnifique sur la baie d’Heraklion. Et les alentours sont calmes. Les informations pour l’arrivée et le départ sont impeccables, nous sommes arrivés directement. Rodia se trouve à 15’ du port d’Heraklion, donc très pratique pour des excursions dans cette ville. Merci pour les fruits, boissons et pâtisseries reçues à notre arrivée

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Kreta und in der Unterkunft von Marina! Wir waren zu zweit mit Kind unterwegs. Insofern war es sehr praktisch, dass der Strand von Stalida fußläufig nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt ist. Zu dritt konnten wir dort gut schlafen und morgens auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Gekocht haben wir nicht - wenig aufwändige Essen wären möglich gewesen. Parken kann man kostenlos direkt in der Straße. Das Appartement ist liebevoll und schön eingerichtet und es war sehr sauber. Kommunikation mit Marina ist schnell und einfach. Ankunft auch mit Code möglich. Also gerne wieder, herzliche Empfehlung. Vielen Dank!

Amazing location with an outstanding view. The house was perfect for day trips all across Crete! The swimming pool and outside space was amazing after long days out sight seeing. Would definitely recommend this house, the host was welcoming and very knowledgable about the area and helped us with places to visit.

Our time here was absolutely perfect! I navigated a bit wrong but thanks to the amazing responsiveness of the host we were quickly rescued! The proximity to the ocean is amazing, the garden STUNNING, the pool was pristine! I absolutely hope to come back here in the future!!

Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

Mai 2025, 10 Nächte Aufenthalt zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind). Die Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz auch für mehr Personen (2 Paare, 4-6 Freunde, 2 Familien) und für längere Aufenthalte (Stauraum, Schränke und Regale, etc.). Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und bietet, auch in der Küche, alles was man brauchen kann. Unser Highlight war die überdachte Terrasse. Unser Flug wurde kurzfristig vorverlegt. Ein deutlich früherer Check-In war in unserem Fall überhaupt kein Problem. Stelios ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und engagierter Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen Ihn und seine Villa ohne Einschränkung weiter. Kleine Einschränkung: die Unterkunft ist etwas ab vom Schuss bzw. die Region ist etwas zersiedelt (hauptsächlich wegen der Geographie des Geländes). Ohne eigenes Auto wird es etwas schwierig unserer Meinung nach. Einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Haus gibt es aber.

the place was very nice and Maria was very hospitable. Her mom gave us delicious homemade cookies. The house looked as if someone is still living there. there were personal photos and what seemed like personal items. looked a lot like a "home". We had a lovely time. thank you Maria.

Le logement dispose de tout le nécessaire et Maria prend soin de ses hôtes de par son accueil à l'arrivée et petites attentions dans le logement. Le logement est très bien placé au centre et près des arrêts de bus, donc parfait pour visiter. Malheureusement la rue est assez passante et peut être bruyante.

Das Studio mit Meerblick liegt nur wenige Meter von einer wunderschönen Bucht entfernt. Ich wurde mit frischem Obst, Snacks und Willkommensgetränken liebevoll empfangen. Durch den Self Check-in per Schlüsselbox war alles sehr unkompliziert und flexibel. Popi war stets für Antworten auf meine Fragen erreichbar. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und es war alles notwendige vorhanden. Nebenan ist ein kleiner Minimarkt, der vom sehr gastfreundlichen Dimitri betrieben wird. Die Location ist perfekt zum abschalten. Möchte man den kleinen Ort verlassen um die umliegenden Ortschaften zu erkundigen ist es sinnvoll, mit dem Auto unterwegs zu sein. Ich habe Made problemlos mit dem Bus von Heraklion erreichen können.

Sin duda decidirnos por este alojamiento hizo de nuestra estancia un éxito! Tuve la suerte de estar en Heraklion bastantes días y la casa era todo lo que necesitaba. El aire acondicionado y balcón permitieron una temperatura muy agradable en casa en todo momento. La cocina cuenta con todo lo esencial, así como las habitaciones. La casa es muy acogedora y además en una ubicación perfecta para acceder al centro y con varias paradas de autobus cerca. Sin embargo, lo mejor de esta estancia fue contar con Liana y su hospitalidad. Nos hizo excelentes recomendaciones, nos acompañó a lo largo de la estancia y nos hizo sentir como en casa, mucho más de lo que se puede pedir! No puedo recomendar este alojamiento lo suficiente, una estancia estupenda.

Eleni's studio apartment worked really well for me. A one month's stay on Crete. Loction is close to downtown but in a quieter neighbourhood with good resturants and a grocery store near by. The apratment was so well equiped making cooking easy. The bed was super comfortable and nice cotten bed sheets. The location felt safe and secure. Nice to have a lock box in the closet. Eleni was a great host making me feel so welcome and helped with tsettling in and finding my way around. Super responsive to texts and just all round nice to deal with and helpful. Thanks Elena!

la casa corrisponde all'annuncio, anzi nella realtà é ancora più spaziosa, bellissimi gli spazi esterni sul davanti e sul retro, fresca la sera non c'è bisogno del condizionatore. la posizione é comoda alla strada principale che attraversa creta e ad Heraklion, ma rimane fuori dal caos della città in una posizione super tranquilla. pur non avendo conosciuto l'host é come se fosse stato lì con noi, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato ad acccoglierci noci e miele, dolcetti tipici, cioccolato, marmellata, frutta, birra, vino, raki e acqua. davvero un benvenuto caloroso. la casa dispone di tutto quello di cui si può aver bisogno. il pensiero trovato sulle scale l'ultimo giorno ha completato una esperienza già bellissima. consiglio quindi l'alloggio a chiunque voglia avere una base tranquilla a creta.

Το σπίτι είναι σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία! Βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του Ηρακλείου και με τα πόδια μπορείς πολύ εύκολα να πας σε εστιατόρια, ταβέρνες, λιμάνι, σούπερ μάρκετ,μαγαζιά με σουβενίρ,μαγαζιά με παραδοσιακά προϊόντα κτλ. Επίσης θα έχετε δική σας την ταράτσα του σπιτιού όπου το βράδυ βλέπετε τα καράβια και γενικά έχει υπεροχή θέα. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο και διέθετε ότι χρειαζόταν κάποιος για τη διαμονή του. Η επικοινωνία με τον οικοδεσπότη ήταν άψογη και μας επέτρεψε να πάμε νωρίτερα από την επιτρεπόμενη ώρα άφιξης ,στο σπίτι ύστερα από συνεννόηση που είχαμε. Το μόνο αρνητικό (αν θα μπορούσε να το χαρακτηρίσει κάποιος ως αρνητικό) είναι το πάρκινγκ στην περιοχή. Επειδή βρίσκεται στο κέντρο η στάση και η στάθμευση δεν επιτρέπονται στους περισσότερους δρόμους. Βέβαια υπάρχουν αρκετά ιδιωτικά πάρκινγκ αν διαθέτετε αμάξι. Θα το προτιμήσουμε σίγουρα ξανά όταν αποφασίσουμε να επισκεφθούμε ξανά την Κρήτη. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!!
