Atelier apartment at the foot of the Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 sqm, with a well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, Markt and Lutherhaus 10-15 min., Wartburg: approx. 35 min. (forest path), train station: approx. 15 min. Hiking: Right behind the house begins the forest and many hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. I am happy to give tips and information. The windows of the studio go to the courtyard, which partly green, serves as a (large) part as a parking space. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby downtown (about a 6-10 minute walk). The surrounding southern district is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and worth seeing alone because of its many Art Nouveau villas. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in the Advent). If the nearby prince pond (2 minutes ) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio ( non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people on a comfortable sofa bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m). Since requests keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Bed linen, towels and hairdryer are provided. In addition, of course: dishwashing utensils/tea towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bathroom. A private parking space is available directly in front of the entrance for guests arriving by car. Note: actually the studio is not available on wednesdays, (arrival wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school-holidays. Note: with the exception of the Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just tell me your wish day for it.

In addition, there are quite a few downhill ski slopes and cross-country skiing trails available in winter. The popular destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. At 950 m, the water dome is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers an extensive range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

A warm welcome to our stylish new apartment in Bamberg. Located right at the Michelsberg with its wonderful church and former monastery and close to the Konzerthalle it is only a 10min walk to the old town. At the same time our newly build house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and in the middle of nature. From the apartment you have direct view into our garden with its old trees. The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter plot in the middle of the village Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Enclosed on all sides, it's an ideal retreat without “being out of the world.” In the morning sun before the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
