Holiday rentals with a patio in Honalo

The apartment was beautiful! The view was exactly as the photo depicted. The place was organized, clean, and was supplied with almost everything and anything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

We had the most magical week at Maryanne's home, would 100% recommend - we'll be back! The condo is even better than photos, it's spacious, well furnished and equipped, cozy and has the most amazing view. This has to be one of the best spots on Ali'i drive because you have an unobstructed view of the ocean and you can walk across the street for tacos (every day), and fruit/flower/fresh baked goods on Fri/Sat/Sun -- and a few minutes down the road is Da Poke Shack... so good! It's really easy to jump in the car and head down to Magic Sands for some boogie boarding, our favorite morning activity. We came with our baby and 8 year old and the condo was perfect for our family of four. Although shades are not technically black out, they keep the rooms very dark and we rarely noticed any street noise. Loved the pool and we used the pool table a lot as well. Maryanne has a stocked closet full of beach goodies (snorkels, boogies, etc) as well as tons of beach towels. Overall, amazing!

Super close to the beautiful magic sands beach and only 10 minutes away from manta ray snorkeling which was an amazing experience!!! Nice central spot for all the stops we had planned across the island. Howard was so friendly!

Angela was very responsive in the Airbnb’s app! Whenever we had an issue, ie confused the building number (due to jet lag), had a small mishap with the washing machine, or any other questions, she was always quick to reply and came over one night to problem solve the washing machine issue. It was easy, she was flexible with our schedule and very kind! She was also very accommodating for us having two little ones, she had two pack n plays set out with fresh sheets and brand new looking blankets for our arrival. Bathroom had basics items like bath washes, bubble bath, lotion, assortment of sunscreens etc. we especially enjoyed the Tommy Bahama cooler backpack for our long days at Kona beaches. This listing is on Ali’I Dr and therefore close to an assortment of local needs (Walmart for affordable groceries and several beach accesses.) Sometimes the studio was not very toddler friendly- but that is a reflection of our wildling NOT ANGELA! We would easily come again just 2 of us.

I enjoyed my stay in Kona. This place was exactly as advertised and looked just like the pictures. Thomas was super proactive and responsive to all of my needs. Check in was easy and clear instruction for check in and check out were provided. Amenities included a wide selection of beach items which was fantastic. Location was wonderful with walkable access to several popular but never crowded beaches. Private parking was a plus. I recommend.

We had a perfect stay — the place was super comfortable and felt just like home. It was clean, cozy, and even had beach gear, which was really handy. There was a great snorkeling spot nearby, and lots of shops and restaurants close, so everything was super convenient. We’d love to come back someday!

Absolutely stunning! The bed was super comfy, the washer and dryer were so helpful and convenient, and I took so many notes on what I now want in my own house! This was probably the most luxurious AirBnB we've ever stayed in.

We had a great day at Kristen and Dan’s spot. I highly recommend. Walkable to lots of local spots. Perfect home base for lots of Hawaii adventures. Very comfortable and nice to return to AC after a long day in the sun.

What a cozy little place! The private lanai feels like you're deep in the jungle, so serene and relaxing. Some fun, thoughtful little touches too. The spacious bathroom is fantastic.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Justin‘s place. It is very spacious and we were a family of five. My mom, my husband and my two daughters. The kitchen was fully stacked, and the mattresses were super comfortable. The snorkeling gear was a little old so we ended up buying our own gear. The area was great. Very close to a swimming beach and a beach for snorkeling. Justin was very responsive. Always replied right away and very helpful. We hope to come back someday soon!

Stuart's place is truly home away from home. Every little detail so well thought out, you won't find yourself stepping out to stock up on essentials, be it in the kitchen or bathroom. Be it towels, beach chairs/mats or toys, everything is sanitized and available to borrow. Stuart was very accommodating of my request for early check in, which is a blessing when traveling with a toddler. He even had a high chair ready for us. We enjoyed our evenings in the lanai, and I can't wait to be back soon. Thank you, Stuart.

This place was just perfect, close to town yet away from all the noise. Definitely plan on staying here again! George was very quick to respond and a great host overall. The views of the ocean were amazing. We loved waking up and drinking our coffee on the lanai and enjoying the view. Place was comfortable and spacious.

Peter and Lori are friendly and welcoming and their property is truly lovely -- it is evident that a lot of care, effort and thought goes into to maintaining it. The cottage makes a perfect home base for exploring the area. It is also so pretty and comfortable that you just might want to pick up a pizza, watch some Jeopardy and dream about what it would be like if every Friday evening was that perfect :) Thank you so much Peter & Lori!

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

We had a group of six, visiting family and friends. The place was spotless and comfortable. This should be the standard for how clean Airbnb’s should be. Would definitely stay again!

We can’t say enough about this dreamy stay! Such a perfect fit for our honeymoon on the big island! Jane was so sweet and helpful! Spending our mornings relaxing on the lanai and taking in the scenery was one of our favorite parts of the trip! We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else on a return trip to Kona!

On a trip with my two college age sons and husband. Perfect size unit that is located across from a great snorkeling and surfing spot. Rental equipment two doors over so easy to do both if the snorkel equipment in the unit doesn’t fit. Lived eating breakfast in the patio and reading a book on the loveseat in the porch. The pool area was so refreshing and nice place to watch the sunset. Would rent again.

Airbnb stay was very comfortable and amazing! The place was very clean and was at an ideal location - very close to various restaurants. Nicholas was very responsive and gave great clear instructions for check in. Just a note - there are quite a few cats on the property. Most of them keep to themselves, but a couple are extra friendly and might even follow you to your unit. It’s worth noting this isn’t Nicholas’s fault—just part of the local environment. If you’re a cat lover, you’ll probably enjoy their company! If not, just be aware. Otherwise, everything was clean, comfortable, and as described. Nicholas was a responsive and thoughtful host.

Excellent location for all you may want to do in Kona. Beautiful view of ocean. All the amenities made our stay extra special. Davide has thought of everything. Sand toys, snorkels, cooler, telescope for dolphin watching, he has it all. The Green Flash Coffee right next store was super convenient to go to for breakfast every morning and was delicious. Would stay again.

Janell's place was amazing! Super clean and organized! It is well furnished and has beach equipment available to use. We liked that it had a washer and dryer in the unit. The place is spaces for a group of 4 people. The balcony was so relaxing after a long day of walking, it has a visable view of the ocean. The place is located walking distance to restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable bedroom and loft space. The loft bedroom does get a bit warm but the fans did help. Check-in and checkout instructions were simple. We were comfortable and happy on our stay here! We highly recommend Janell's place for your next stay in Kona!

Had an amazing stay. Conveniently located with a lot of walkable restaurants and activities. Krista was very responsive and gave great recommendation for things to do in the area. We would highly recommend coming here.

Had the place for myself for 6 nights. Enjoyed that it is a Alii drive with ocean view right in front. The house has got beach chairs, a cooler and a beach bag and beach towels. These small add ons are extremely helpful when traveling. The place was squeaky clean when we arrived and we had a nice stay here.

Well equipped, compact studio (for example, three different types of coffee makers: drip, percolator, and French press; snorkel gear; pool toys for kids; all the kitchen tools and appliances you need). It shows its age a bit, but is clean and tidy. Great for walking, with proximity to restaurants and groceries. And close enough to main highways and the airport to be very convenient. Parking can be a challenge, but I always found a spot in front on the street, if the on-site lot was full.
