Find the coziness and tranquility when you stay in this nice, newly renovated home. Good access via road 453/461. Nature is right in the backyard, as the house has land directly to the Gudenåen. For those of you who enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or rowing in a canoe/kayak but want a real bed and a hot shower after an active day. Sit by the fire and pitch your tent by the river. The apartment is on the 1st floor and was thoughtfully and beautifully renovated in the spring of 2023. Bed linen, towels, dishcloths, etc. are included in the price.

The house also has 3 canoes/kayaks and associated life jackets, so you can enjoy one of Denmark's largest lakes, which is also connected to the Gudenåen. You can also fish directly from the house, as the lake is rich in fish.

Dyrekærhuset is located in the most beautiful and peaceful nature. You can take a walk in the Dyrekærskoven with a viewpoint, sit by the stream, watch the wildlife and enjoy the birdsong. If you have children with you, there are swings, a zip line, trampoline, playground, soccer field, basketball and lots of opportunities for outdoor games. There is also a hot tub. Dyrekærhuset is suitable for retreats. If you are 2-3 families or a large family, we also have a log cabin with room for 4-5 and a shelter for 6.

Forest outside the door, hiking trails along Horsens fjord and to Trustrup lookout hills. 2 km to a small local beach and 15 km to the good east coast beaches at Saksild. Good local farm shops and exhibitors of handicrafts. 12 km to Odder with a movie theater, good restaurants and shopping. The home is best suited for two people - if you are not a family. Possibility to bring a horse.
