I found Lulu to be super helpful and responsive particularly as I booked this place for my mum to stay for a couple of nights. This is what she had to say about Lumin lodge: "The lodge was small but perfectly formed, and had a really lovely atmosphere. The little garden was an added bonus. It would have been great to have had a small fridge, as I was there for 2 nights, but I came prepared with a well-iced cooler for my milk, juice etc and that worked perfectly well. The parking space was perfect. I loved being able to walk just down the road and into Catton Park - that was a joy."

Caroline's place is absolutely beautiful & tranquil. Unfortunately I'd just had some very sad news & Caroline was there welcoming me with a huge hug & comforting words. The calmness of The Pelican Rooms was so relaxing & comforting & definitely what I needed. There was fresh bed, butter, jam, milk & bottled water plus some cookies waiting for me so very much appreciated. Caroline is probably the loveliest host I have ever met. Felt like I'd known her for years! Can't wait to come back under happier circumstances.

Lovely place in a great location with beautiful surroundings. We were welcomed with freshly baked bread and homemade made jam. We've stayed at other Airbnbs but the amenities provided made this place stand above the rest.

The first and greatest thing about this place is Edward, our host. The level of open communication and kindness given to us helped make planning the long weekend so much easier and stress-free. We had some complications on our side, but by being open and honest with Edward well-enough in advance, we were able to discuss a solution that respected everybody involved. I met him in person on our day of arrival and had a lovely catch-up. Edward, I'll keep thanking you again for everything you did for us. The place itself was perfect for us. Admittedly we spent most of our long weekend out-and-about, but having this as a base-camp was a comfort. It was a very warm weekend, but everyone agrees it was cool and comfortable enough to sleep in. The plentiful amenities were greatly appreciated, including the coffee kit, and everywhere felt spacious enough that no room felt too small for our whole group. We're all very happy.
