Willow the Caravan

WillRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely stay in the Caravan. It had everything we needed. Kids loved the bunk beds. The pull out double bed was comfy. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. Hot water and heating throughout. Toby and Lucy are great hosts and gave us some good info on the area. They were very responsive and friendly. The garden is lovely and our kids had fun on the zip wire. Overall we had a great few nights and can happily recommend.

4 berth luxury motorhome

JulieRating, 5 stars34 months ago
A beautiful campervan located right in the middle of a lovely part of the world to explore. Van was spacious for 4 of us and was easy to drive even if you don’t usually get behind the wheel of such large vehicles. Van well equipped with camping chairs, table and awning. Rebecca and Mike were really responsive and helpful.

Solar Powered Hideaway

RobRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We loved our stay in the campervan, Rose explained everything really well and the location is ideal for nearby Chichester/Bosham etc. The camper is well equiped and it felt like a little quirky adventure away from it all. We hope to be back in the future.

The Greenman Campervan ( off grid)

AlisonRating, 5 stars21 months ago
From start to finish, Anna couldn't have been more responsive or more helpful. She is a pleasure to deal with. I was interested in booking Anna's Greenman Campervan, but wasn't sure if the campsite in West Hoathly that I had chosen would be accessible. Anna visited the site ahead on time to confirm the van would work there. The van itself is such a groovy space. It's warm and comfortable and has everything you could need for a few nights away in the wilderness. The solar panels powered the lights, fridge and phone charging capabilities and the gas-fired cooker was perfect for boiling water and warming up breakfast. We used both the double and single beds and had a comfortable night. The tiny wood burning stove is a revelation and the van was toasty in no time. Anna also provided chairs, a table and a fire pit, which was a lovely way to finish our evening and a great place to sit for breakfast. All in all we had a fab time and would thoroughly recommend Greenman! Thank you!

The Big Green Shepherd’s Hut

RuthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Amazing experience staying in this hut. Great welcome with a thoughtful and appreciated little treat left in the side. Appreciated the logs and fire equipment. Lovely touches like a cosy hot water bottle, interesting topical books and cute reclaimed and retro bits and bobs to explore and have fun with. Loved the album of Rob’s building the hut, really amazing craftwork you’ve done with natural materials and making the place cosy and interesting. Bed was a dream. Shower was a treat. Friendly pigs running to welcome you everytime you go past was brilliant, gonna miss them, and watching the sheep and ponies running around and the ducklings on the pond. Fab, private and safe space with fantastic woods to walk in.

Walt · 1955 Retro Airstream - iconic glamping

KathleenRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Retro Staycations was an amazing experience. We stayed in the airstream caravan Walt, which had little nods toward Walt Disney around the caravan. Everything was spotless and charming. Outside was well equipped with our own deck chairs, a picnic table, a fire pit and a BBQ. It was so lovely sat out in the sun overlooking fields, cooking our supper and chilling. Once it was dark we had an amazing view of the stars. The whole experience had a relaxed atmosphere and we came away after two nights not wanting to leave. Both Sarah & Alex from Retro Staycations we’re both friendly and very helpful. Thank you. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Glamping in style, Emperor tent with home comforts

AlisonRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We booked this last minute and were not disappointed. We went with our 5 year old and he loved it! All the adventures of camping but with the added luxury of comfortable beds, cosy duvets and a cute, yet well equipped, kitchen and a barbecue. We had hot chocolate by the fire pit and watched the stars - a perfect evening! Janet was so accommodating - great communication and we even had a tour to see the chickens, baby ducks, chicks, geese and goats! Would highly recommend a stay here.

Lucille · 1954 Retro Airstream - iconic glamping

JaneRating, 5 stars38 months ago
We have just returned home from our 3 night stay with Retro Staycations! We had a wonderful few days, the weather was lovely & it felt like we could have been abroad on the beautiful Isle of Wight! It was so lovely to take a few days out of our busy life to reconnect with each other as a family! We stayed in 2 vans as there are 5 of us including 2 large teenagers! Our first van Lucille has been wonderfully restored, she is so bright, fresh, airy & clean - retro with a modern twist! We had a friendly welcome from Sarah & it was so lovely that we were supplied tea/coffee/washing up liquid/sponge/shampoo etc in our vans, I thought that was a really nice touch, as was the fact that the beds had been beautifully made up which was great as we had arrived late. Fresh towels were included too which is so helpful. There is so much storage in the van we had no problem storing our things away. Our second van Walt was so spacious, he has been kept much more authentic with original decor but still fresh and clean and has loads of space! The bonus with Walt was 2 beds are fixed with lovely memory foam mattresses which were really comfortable!! The setting is stunning & so lovely to see the farm animals including baby lambs and calves! The farm shop is open 24 hours a day which is great, you can go in & buy delicious IOW fresh goods anytime! So much space on the field for the kids to play football and mess about and so much to visit on the island, the sandy beaches are gorgeous and lots of seaside towns to visit with the glorious Ryde beach only down the road & Sandown just 10 mins in the car. The site is not far from the ferry either, so it’s a great location! The toilet blocks have recently been refurbished and so are fresh & clean & were cleaned daily whilst we were there. I will be telling my friends & family about Retro Staycations & we can’t wait to visit again soon!
