Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hot Springs

Holy fireflies! Went to this spot to propose to my girlfriend, and the amount of fireflies added a magical touch. Couple that with a beautiful sunset, great view of the stars, and lightning storm over the mountains, I couldn't have planned for a better spot. You could easily view the big dipper and scorpio constellations from this spot. Very clean and a fun drive to get there! Only downside was the fire pit not working, but I attribute that to the previous night's rainstorm. Would recommend bringing a lighter just in case. Otherwise such a magical spot that we'll always remember. Obviously she said yes, but thank you for all the extras! Even used the chess set pieces as props for my proposal, thank you! Everyone should scope this pad.

We booked our stay while having work done at our home and it ended up being the perfect retreat. We worked remotely for a few days — I used the upstairs bedroom and desk as my office while my husband worked downstairs, which worked out great. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked (pro tip: take inventory before heading to the grocery store!). The decor is beautiful and all the plants made the place so bright! Mornings on the porch with coffee and mountain views were a peaceful way to start the day. We also loved exploring the charming town of Black Mountain. We hope to have the chance to return! Luke and Olessia were awesome hosts and very responsive to our questions.

This place was an absolute gem. It was really, REALLY clean. I think the hosts emphasize how much they clean, and it really shows. It was conveniently located to Asheville. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

This was the most peaceful Airbnb stay! We were blown away with how nice and cozy this little sanctuary was. The sauna, tea & coffee, wood burning fireplace, and comfy bed all added to our wonderful experience. Plus, the land is beautiful and the hosts and their kiddos are so nice! We would stay longer if we could!

We stayed at this gorgeous home for a few days as our first family vacation since our daughter was born four months ago. We’ve traveled all over the world with Airbnb and this has been one of the best! The home is gorgeous, spacious, and clean. The view is unbelievable. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. Everything is also very organized and labeled so that you know exactly where anything is. Steve was also very accommodating with letting us check in early! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home with its incredible views of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls from the deck & patio! Lisa & Johns place is close to town, yet it is in a gated community up the mountain so its totally private & peaceful with it's awesome mountain views by day and a million stars at night! We spent time in Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Asheville, The Biltmore, Black Mountain and more, everything was easy to get to. I highly recommend this home!

Lovely home in a beautiful and private location. The perfect place for a trip to the Blue Ridge that is both cozy and modern. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Short distance to downtown Waynesville. Would love to stay here again.

Felt right at home in a quiet neighborhood, would stay again!

Dawn and Ron were amazing hosts! They were very responsive and gave amazing suggestions for our girls trip. Pippin and Frodo gave us so much joy! I would highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to enjoy some peace and relaxation but convince of experiencing all that Asheville has to offer.

The place was great, even though it was a very quick stay. The mattresses were very comfortable, place was clean & inviting. My wife really admired their garden and has now decided we are adding a butterfly garden to our farmstead. We would def stay again.

I have stayed in Carolyn's units several times. She is a fantastic host and very responsive. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay. There are snacks too! We were at a conference with people dropping in for lunch so I particularly appreciated the extra table and chairs. I slept on the bed and sofa and both were comfortable. The lake view and access to the walking trail are perfect. The close proximity to Stuart Auditorium was a must for me. I highly recommend Carolyn's units and am already booked for next year.

A great location and quaint spot. Perfect for us as we visited family. Very well supplied. We wanted for nothing. Extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and bedtime tea outside in the seating area. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Lynn’s place for a few days while visiting family nearby. We appreciated the clear instructions and easy check-in. The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable- we were able to find everything we needed with ease. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make this place special (we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom). Lynn was very friendly and accommodating and provided a comfy high chair for our 10 month old baby. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Gabrielle’s. She gave us many suggestions weeks before we got there and was easily accessible once we arrived. The place was very clean and had a lot of amenities. The view was amazing. It was easy to get from her place to many other local attractions that we wanted to see.

This was the PERFECT place for our stay in Asheville. It’s centrally located which makes it convenient to get around, but the property itself is slightly outside of the city center in a woodsy area which gives you that lovely, peaceful feeling of being in nature. The space itself was perfectly spacious for 2 people. Very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen doesn’t have a stove but with a kettle, microwave, fridge, and toaster oven you can still do some cooking if you wish. The front porch is nice for sitting in the evenings. The hosts were very kind and provided some snacks and drinks for our stay, as well as clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations. We loved staying here and if we ever find ourselves back in Asheville we would definitely stay here! Such a great value for an excellent place!

This was the most amazing cabin that feels like a place that has been lived in-something I keep searching for and rarely find! Like your clean uncles cabin in the middle of nowhere. It’s hard to find, but when I do I’m so happy. Nick was very responsive and helpful-a very nice trip and a beautiful view-the view was worth the trip alone.

My husband, doggo, and I had a wonderful stay on Catherine’s beautiful property. It felt private and surrounded by the mountains, river, and farm animals- it was an absolute dream. Catherine was welcoming and responsive if we had any questions. I appreciate the no shoes in the house policy, it felt so clean and comfortable. My favorite part was being greeted by the donkeys in the evenings. The 4 days went by too fast but looking forward to coming back in the Fall. Thank you so much!

This was my wife and I first time visiting Asheville. After spending about an hour searching where to stay, we decided to lodge at this beautiful cozy A-frame. This allowed us to have easy access to hiking trails, a great view of the mountains and yet still be able to reach downtown Asheville in about twenty minutes. Needless to say we had a great time and we would recommend staying here.

We love this place! Catherine is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond in hospitality and in communicating with us. When we arrived, we found fresh donuts and popcorn from local businesses awaiting us as well as complimentary beverages in the refrigerator. Lovely smelling bath salts and robes provided, made a delightful hot tub experience. The bed, linen and pillows were dreamy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful home on a babbling creek! It was beautiful and comfortable. We appreciated the recommendations for local eateries and also utilized the beautiful kitchen and grill. The hot tub and outdoor shower are an added bonus! We loved, loved, loved the creek! We only wished we had brought chairs to sit and relax with our feet in, but the bank worked just fine. Thank you for sharing this amazing place!

Probably my favorite air bnb I have stayed at so far. A perfect little cabin with everything that you could need and it was so clean. Honestly from the photos the water looks further away, it’s closer in person! And the view from the water (and the porch) is amazing. Bed is comfortable, kitchen and bedrooms have everything you could need, just a simply amazing stay. Can’t wait to come back one day!

The home was amazingly clean and organized with switches and spaces labeled. The kitchen was well equipped with tools and appliances including a crockpot and muffin pan. We loved the extra ice maker. The downstairs bedroom is small but adequate. The living room/kitchen/dining area is very comfy and spacious with a lot of nice touches. We ate breakfast and watched many rain showers from the covered porch area. The lightning bugs, deer, and family of 10+ turkeys were a joy to watch up close to the cabin. The covered porch was by far our favorite place to be at any time of the day. We grilled out, enjoyed an evening fire, and even did laundry. We went to the cabin to check out supplies before shopping. We bought charcoal, matches, wood, and groceries from the local Ingles store. The cabin is very private. There is a lot of road traffic but it wasn’t overwhelming. The landscaping is well designed and the cabin is on a hill so people couldn’t see us. We had an amazing time.
