Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet bietet sie einen super Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge zum Myvatn, Husavik, Arctic Henge und natürlich zum benachbarten Asbyrgi. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen, wenn es uns noch mal in den Norden verschlägt.

The peaceful and quiet surroundings were absolutely beautiful. After a long drive and a hike, we were able to fully relax and unwind in the pre-heated natural hot tub such a perfect touch! Everything was well-prepared and comfortable. I would definitely love to stay here again next time!

Great cabin at a great location, close to lots of nice sightseeing. The cabin itself feels very homey, and had lots to play with for our 1,5 yo old son. Agnes is a great host as well!

Chalet bellissimo con cucina con il necessario per cucinare(forno elettrico,microonde,piastre elettriche..) peccato per il meteo veramente pessimo con pioggia e vento fortissimo...altrimenti la posizione sarebbe meravigliosa in mezzo alla natura...che paceee. Ci torneremmo sicuramente.

First of all, Iceland is a wonderful country. The countryside is beautiful, with the Blue Lagoon, the geyser site, the wonderful waterfalls, the gletsjers. We were there at the end of the year, with a wonderful snowy countryside. The place in Nordurnes is very good. It lies in the mountains in a very nice parc, with lots of space around it. Fully equiped and very good service. All of our questions were answered quickly and adequately. All in all, we had a wonderful time in Iceland and we would recommend the house in Nordurnes to everyone. Thanks a lot, Dan, Mel and Sveinn!

We really enjoyed our stay here at the cozy cabin! Close to Thingvellir and laugvartn for all the activities we wanted to do and very friendly and responsive host!

A great cabin just outside of Selfoss. Great for a family - kids loved the trampoline and pole tennis. A cozy cabin with wood burning stove. We loved it! Thank you.

Cozy cabin with fun loft and scenic views. A hot tub was made for us and we had a peaceful time soaking up the mountains of iceland surrounding this home.

Pure Vida Mountain Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. Lukasz was very welcoming. The home was charming and beautiful. The decor was inviting yet also possessed a museum like quality with all the really cool art, stained glass, and interesting personality of the house. We especially loved the geothermal hot tub and view. The living plants in the home were also a plus for us! We LOVED having living plants inside. The glass house over the creek bed was beautiful and the kids played soccer and on the zip line for hours while my husband and I enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Everything about this place is amazing. Upon looking up the meaning of 'Pure Vida" I think our host nailed it. He referred to this home as his own little "Costa Rica". Pura Vida refers to a pure or simple life and embracing optimism in Costa Rica and we do believe that our host has captured all of this in his home and we are grateful for the opportunity to enjoy it.

This is a new, beautiful house with every possible amenity. We loved the hot tub, cold tub and sauna. Husafell is a great location with access to the glacier and the starting point for many of the excursions (ice caves, snowmobiling, etc.). There's also fantastic hiking/ waterfalls and an amazing restaurant nearby, although we quite enjoyed grilling at the house as well. I hope I get the chance to come back. It was an unforgettable stay for my family and I.

The location is great if you want to have an experience in iceland away from Reykjavik but still close to fun tourist attractions. Husafell has plenty to offer while the home itself is spaced nicely away from other houses in this small neighborhood within this little village. The house itself is magnificent. Heated floor makes the house so warm and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and all the amenities are just over the top nice and high qaulity. I've stayed at AirBnBs that were much more expensive and had uncomfortable beds and skimped on every amenity, this was a very welcome surprise compared to those experiences. My favorite was the hot tub which actually used the natural hot water from the ground rather than a heating mechanism... so essentially you are getting your very own hot springs experience included with this rental! The sauna was also a favortite among a number in our party. Would lvoe to come back and spoend more time here!
