What a beautiful, secluded location. We LOVED the natural hot springs hot tub on the property. There is nothing you need to do to use it, just take the cover off and enjoy. The place was comfortable, cozy, and clean. Great blackout curtains. Had a little trouble using Google Maps to find it, but instructions proactively given by the host helped for sure. Close to Geysir and Gullfoss. Maybe stock up on groceries before you come, although there is a small grocery store in Flúðir. We highly recommend this place!

An absolutely stunning lake side villa close to the famous Golden Circle. We used it as our base for a week to explore Iceland with friends. We were two families, with three children in total. The villa is simply stunning, so beautiful and the perfect home away from home. We all loved returning back in the evenings and enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Then the grown ups sat up late to take in the never ending sun outside, snuggled with blankets and fire pit for company. We lost track how many photos we all took of the lake. We also enjoyed our coffee in the morning over looking the lake and running the loop around the lake. Communication was excellent and Telma couldn't have been more responsive or helpful. We 100% recommend and will be back!

Dieses Haus war unser schönstes und bequemstes auf unserer zweiwöchigen Tour auf der Ringstraße. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig, aber gemütlich. Hier fehlt einfach nichts! Auch der Hot Tub auf der Terrasse ist ein Traum. Unser bestes Erlebnis war ein Nordlicht. Ringsherum gibt es keine Lichtverschmutzung, die Terrasse geht rund ums Haus, der ideale Ort für die Aurora. Wunderschön ruhig gelegen, nah am Golden Circle und an Reykjavik. Von hier aus kann man viele Ausflüge machen. Herzlichen Dank an Sigurdur für die freundliche und problemlose Kommunikation! ❤️

This was a beautiful house tucked away in Olafsfjordur. It looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The hot tub was a great way to wind down at the end of the day and the weight room in the garage was a welcomed activity after long hours driving around the countryside. Would definitely stay here again!

This may be the best Airbnb I’ve rented. The space was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The location was perfect - within walking distance of everything downtown and the host was friendly and super responsive. Overall, my family of 7 couldn’t have been happier.

Thank you so much for sharing your home! We had a fantastic stay. Everything was exactly as pictured. Home is on a bus route. Easy to get around. We are especially loved the wireless phone charger which was a lifesaver as we forgot about a European plug converter for the outlets. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

The apartment is large and very comfortable. The host calls it a studio, but it feels more like a 1-bedroom appartment, because there are three areas - a large kitchen, a bedroom (there is no door which would make it completely private, but most of it is behind a wall separating it from the kitchen), and a dan/office with a writing deck. The street is very quiet, and there is plenty of free street parking right in front of the building. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has all the necessary amenities. We didn't use the hot tub, but it is available and is easily accessible from the apartment. This apartment is a great choice if you need to stay in Keflavik overnight (e.g., flying out the next day or starting your tour around the island the next day), or could also serve as a good base to explore the areas around the Blue Lagoon and the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Amazing Airbnb. Absolutely beautiful location, extremely comfortable and spacious, everything you could need and amazing and hospitable hosts. Very close to reykjavic and right where the golden circle starts. Perfect location. You also have the pleasure of horses and sheep on the farm that are so playful. Dont wait just book!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Island und waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Sowohl die Hausbesitzer als auch die Ansprechpersonen vor Ort waren sehr gastfreundlich und konnten gute Tips geben. Es war nicht unsere letzte Reise in dieses tolle Land.

Phil’s place was incredible!! Such a prime location truly in the heart of reykjavik!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!! An absolutely beautiful home with incredible amenities. Plenty of rooms and comfortable beds. Towels and toiletries were all provided as well. Appreciate Phil’s consistent communication!! He always responds immediately! Highly recommend it here.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning property. The views from the living room are truly breathtaking - it’s like a living postcard. The house is next to a horse farm, and the friendly horses added such a charming touch to our experience. The home itself is elegantly decorated with luxury furnishings and thoughtful attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is provided, including a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. The spacious veranda, fireplace, and overall layout made the place feel both cozy and indulgent. Set on private land with a private entrance, the house offers complete privacy while being just a short walk from the beach. We loved being surrounded by nature, vivid birdlife, and the peaceful sound of the ocean. It’s also a perfect base to explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula, with many attractions close by. A truly special home in an incredible setting!!

This was the first time we used AirBnB and it was great experience for us due to the great approach and service provided by Sigridur. The whole process from booking, to arrival, stay and check-out was very easy due to the proactive and helpful communication from Sigridur. The property itself was as described, clean and carefully prepared for AirBnB usage. I would highly recommend staying there if you need a base for exploring Reykjavik and neighbouring areas.

We stayed 3 nights and it was a very comfortable house (6 people). Spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the fjord. Quiet neighborhood with icelandic ponies, sheep and cows nearby. Downtown was close by so we could eat at some of the excellent restaurants in Akureyri. We used the house as a gateway to Myvatn lake area and Husavik. One of my favorite AirBNB stays ever.

I stayed at the Hekla Comfort House with my father and brother for two nights during a 6 day trip in Iceland. My father hadn't been to Europe since the 70's and this was our first time traveling just the three of us. We loved every minute of our stay and wish we could have extended our time there. Such a lovely home and the hosts have clearly thought of every last amenity their guests may need. We drove a lot exploring the South coast and it was so wonderful to come back to this place after a long day in the car. Many thanks for sharing your special home with us!

It's our third trip to Iceland and this is our favourite Airbnb so far. The surroundings is beautiful and quiet. The house itself is wonderful, comfortable and very clean. The hosts have really put in a lot of thought and effort to ensure that we have a great experience and want for nothing. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Eugenias beautiful home. From the gorgeous exterior to the perfect layout to the sauna/hottub/cold plunge with the babbling stream running alongside. Magical! The setting was incredibly stunning and was truly one of our favorite views in all of Western Iceland. Close enough to Reykjavik while still feeling a world away. How lucky we felt to call it home each day we returned from exploring. Traveling as a family of five with three young children (9, 7, 6) we were also grateful for the lovely amenities (legos!) that made our time at home extra enjoyable for the kids. Enjoying a coffee each morning with the incredible views of the snow capped mountains was such a treat as was a night of Northern Lights! We've traveled to many Airbnbs across the world and Eugenia tops the list as the most helpful, kind, thoughtful host we've encountered. Being able to stay in her home felt so authentically Iceland and made for the most memorable trip!

A hidden gem in the country side. Beautiful, very quiet, a true sanctuary. So nice to come back after a day of sightseeing. The hot tub was a great bonus. The kitchen was very well stocked and our host made sure we had plenty of coffee! Plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 child.

This house is amazing… it stood out among 3 airbnbs we used this trip… comfortable, well stocked (foosball, great kitchen amenities, quality towels linens and beds) and in an exquisite location on a small cliff with great panoramic views of far-off snow capped mountains. Hosts were responsive when we tripped the circuit breaker and helped us quickly get power back. I have literally zero complaints and so many things i lived about this house!!! Many thanks to these gracious hosts!
