Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Île Saint-Louis

Nice spacious pool house with modern feel.The crocodile (statue) in the floor is a cool feature and the area is super nicely located at the river Marne with lots of walking and cycling space. Playground and little cafe in the park within a few hundred metres. Very convenient for travel into Paris by RER. Bakeries and supermarkets all in walking distance. You stay on owners property which is just stunning and has parking too. Friendly hosts that are very responsive.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place—or better hosts. Slyde, and especially Frederic, were more than just welcoming; they took the time to show me around and introduced me to wonderful people. I gained a lot of perspective both in art and life by having a lovely conversation with them. Aulnay-sous-Bois is a quiet yet vibrant and well-connected community, and the hosts represented the town perfectly. The room was cozy, and the house itself is filled with remarkable works of art. And as lovely as it was, it was also convenient—just a 3–5 minute walk to patisseries and grocery stores, another few minutes to the train station, and only 20–30 minutes from the heart of Paris. It was a beautiful experience—one that made it easy to call this place home, even if only for a few days.

Kaltrina's place was great to stay in. Close to public transport, and the night bus. There is an Aldi and Bakery near by. The area appeared a little off the beaten path, it was very local with few tourists around, which added to the local feel of the place. Highly recommend!

A lovely little home away from home, with obvious attention to detail. Instructions for entry were accurate, everything was fresh and easy to use, and the little extras like copious chargers, one-way windows on the first floor for privacy and daily delivered breakfast were most welcome. Above all, Francois is an absolutely terrific host. Not intrusive, but extremely responsive and helpful. Francois truly responds almost immediately and provides extremely helpful information about the unit and the area. This petite maison is situated in a small courtyard in close proximity to waste receptacles for the neighbors, but there were no unpleasant odors in the very tidy unit and the location allows for privacy in a city teeming with life.

One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at! So calming, cool and stylish. And big! Everything is there, yet the space is so zen and quiet. Great pizza just a few steps away, a comfy bed and lovely couch to chill out on. In a very cute area of Paris with a street with lots of nice restaurants and a good deli. We will be back!

Dale and Gilles' accommodation is like a small island of tranquility in the metropolis of Paris. It is lovingly furnished, very well equipped (among other things, there was also coffee, tea and a few snacks in the refrigerator), you feel right at home. The location is also very convenient, with the metro line 9 you can quickly get to the center of Paris. Dale and Gilles were wonderful hosts, they allowed us to check in earlier, greeted us in person and gave us great tips on restaurants. We were happy to stay with Dale and Gilles and will definitely come back! Thank you for the great days with you! :)

Alice's house was the perfect Parisian retreat for my couple's weekend. Impeccable house, very quiet surroundings and close to the beautiful Le Marais neighborhood and easy self check-in. Considering that our flight was scheduled for the afternoon, Alice allowed us to leave our suitcases at home until 2:30 pm. It was wonderful to enter her apartment and find a box of French cookies waiting for us. I highly recommend it. Thanks Alice, see you next time. 🤍

We loved staying in this sweet Paris apartment far above the river with a lovely view of the city and Seine. Storage was plentiful, the shower was great, having access to the washer dryer combo was very convenient. Catherine was a helpful, friendly, and attentive host but honestly so much was supplied we didn’t need to contact her during the week. The apartment and the building are charming and the neighbors we met were kind. Ile Saint Louis can’t be beat for location. Be sure you can cope with many stairs - it’s worth it if you can! Beautiful, clean, special property south-facing the Seine on lovely and quiet Ile St. Louis! The top floor apartment has a wonderful private terrace overlooking the Seine, Pantheon and Notre Dame - with the Eiffel Tower looming in the distance! The building is historic - Marie Curie lived two floors below for 20 years! The location is quiet and perfectly accessible to the big churches, museums and other attractions. The best!

Johanne’s place is beautifully designed and decorated, well equipped and very well located close to Gare de Lyon. The neighbourhood has some very nice restaurants. We would happily return. Johanne is a great host: good communication and with attention to details. Thank you!

Best location, perfect layout with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms on separate ends of the apartment. Very quiet at night. Would return without hesitation. The building is very secure. Marie, our greeter, was extremely helpful at arrival, facilitating access to a bedroom and bath for a sick child while the rest of the apartment was still being cleaned. She suggested medication available at the nearest pharmacy. The kitchen is tiny, but the important things (espresso maker) and an adorable tiny dishwasher drawer were there. One has to be aware that the apartment (first floor) in an old building means a steep climb up beautiful old oak stairs. Fortunately, we had help from our fabulous driver Joaquim (arranged via the recommended website). All in all, we would return in a heartbeat.

This space was a perfect pied-a-terrre for our four-night stay in Paris. Perfectly located in the Ile Saint-Louis, it is walkable to great restaurants, shops, museums, and major attractions such as Notre Dame and Sainte-Chappel. It has a great view of Notre Dame and a distant view of the Eiffel Tower. The space is very clean and sized for one or two travelers wanting to visit a city known for its great cafes and restaurants. The Nespresso machine and electric kettle were great for having tea and coffee in bed while listening to the church bells in the morning. The under-cabinet refrigerator kept our champagne perfectly chilled. The bathroom was nicely sized and has an actual overhead shower head, which is atypical in France. We even had the benefit of working off some of our great meals by it being on the sixth floor. As my wife said on our way to the airport, “it was the perfect space for two - I can’t wait to come back.”

This was the first time I've ever rented an Airbnb. I am now ruined! But in a good way. My experience at Isabelle's place was just fantastic from beginning to end. Isabelle answered all my questions prior to arrival, and I had plenty. The actual apartment is exactly as it is depicted in the photos and the description. There were no surprises. The apartment was a great place for us to stay for nine nights. We so appreciated that there is a washing machine there. Made packing so much easier. The location was such a great discovery. We had been to two of the nearby restaurants, but had been there only in the evening, and never explored. The neighborhood is so vibrant, with loads of lovely cafes, restaurants, food shops (found a nice cheese and a nice ham place), two markets, and between two metro stops. We will mostly certainly return.

Perfect location for a single traveler or a couple. The heart of the city is easily reachable by walking and the place is cute and cozy to feel like a Parisian. Highly recommended.

The location is very convenient — the metro is right under the building. All the necessary shops, cafes, and restaurants are nearby. The Eiffel Tower is about a 20–25 minute walk away. The kitchen, bathroom, and rooms were clean, with all the necessary amenities and even more. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there’s a fan in case it gets hot — and it was hot! The host was incredibly responsive — we communicated in broken English, but still managed to understand each other and sort everything out. Check-in was easy, everything works with access codes, super simple. The place matches the description and is definitely worth the price!

Nice flat, was clean and quiet at night. The sofa bed was comfortable. Lovely area with lots of restaurants and bars nearby while not being too busy. Very near the metro so easy to travel to other parts of Paris.

Iris & Stephane are very communicative and helpful hosts. The apartment is like walking onto a movie set - a real experience! It is more spacious than expected, with gorgeous views of the park and in a great location - walking distance to many bistros, wine bars, shops, etc. The kitchen is well appointed and Iris & Stephane provided some lovely flowers, fresh fruit and champagne on arrival. There is a beautiful claw foot tub and basin in the bedroom, which makes up for the small boat style shower/toilet. My husband and I had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Thank you Iris & Stephane!

Denis’ condo is our #1 place to stay in Paris. This our third time staying here, and will not be our last. His communication is proactive and kind, especially being considerate on your flying in and flying out days. As for the condo, it has everything you could ask for in a cozy Parisian condo. Located on a quiet street with easy access to the Metro, it has all your needs for a short stay or a long stay. Groceries, coffee, and restaurants. Building access is straight forward and is an easy walk up from the ground floor. There are too many reasons to list why we enjoy Denis’ place. Trust us, it’s well worth the stay.

Marie was a great host, communicated well and gave excellent instructions in good time. The flat was perfect for a sightseeing base, good price and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend for others 🤩

The apartment was perfect. It was close to a metro line, which we discovered a few days in but was well worth the overall savings costs. Martine was very responsive. It got really cold and she brought over a space heater that heats the entire apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and if it's just the 2 of us, we'd love to stay there again.

Laurence was a wonderful host. She was flexible with our check in time, was always nearby for questions or assistance and was very warm and friendly. The apartment is in a prime location, perfect spot to pop out and start your day, with many great restaurants, bakery, gelato, and shopping right outside the door. Even with the central location, the home was quiet and peaceful. The place has a very “lived in” feel, with many personal items spread throughout, but it did not take away from our enjoyment of the space.

Very well located accommodation, close to the metro, line 1... very quiet, peaceful place with a nice inner courtyard. Responsive and nice host.
