Monthly Rentals in Independence

Our stay was very nice. The home was clean, comfortable and only 10 minutes from the friend we came to visit. The only issue we had was accessing the check in information on the Airbnb e-mails that I received. I tried to find it on the Airbnb app but it wasn't there either. The home is fairly remote so I don't know if my phone service was slow because of that. Eventually it appeared and I was able to access the code for the lockbox. I had been able to access it when we were at the airport but we couldn't when we arrived at the house. Next time I'll write it down. I have had the code texted to me when I've rented which worked well. Other than that, our stay was great. Thank you Loren & Kathy.

My parents stayed at Jessica’s place for two months, and they were extremely comfortable and satisfied. The space is not large, but it is well-equipped with everything they needed. The heating system worked great and warmed up quickly, which was perfect for the winter months. Jessica was an amazing host—very responsible and incredibly responsive, always replying to messages almost instantly. She even kept us informed about snow removal for the driveway, which was really thoughtful. Communication was effortless, and she made everything easy for us. The neighborhood is also super quiet, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay. If we have the chance, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay on Christmas Eve with a few of my adult children! We had fun playing horse and board games and were able to make a great dinner in a kitchen that provided more than enough cooking utensils as well as space. It was nice and central for our Christmas Day travels ! Great stay !

Our family enjoyed our stay at the “Vintage Retreat!” The best word to describe this home is “charming.” The home felt cozy and welcoming. There were many small details that we appreciated greatly: small chocolates on the nightstand, hair ties and bobby pins in the bathroom, complimentary coffee coupons, and more. The place was impeccably clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again! Note: This is an old farmhouse and it retains the character of an old farmhouse, including steep stairs, creaky floors, and a smaller bedroom with lower door frames. Exactly what you would expect from a home built in the 1800s!
