Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Indian River

We stayed for a weekend with family and our fur babies and had an amazing time. Courtney let us check in earlier which was nice of her and we got to enjoy the water. The water was just as described crystal clear. House was super clean and cozy. We will definitely stay again next year.

We had a great stay in Charlevoix and got to explore Petoskey as well thanks to this cute Airbnb. So glad that we picked this one. It was a great location just steps away from a sweet treat and a short walk to beautiful downtown Charlevoix. The Airbnb was so cozy and clean. We had a great time and Brandon was super quick to respond to any question I had. Thank you! ☺️

What a welcoming little home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed, including lots of recommendations for local things to do. We enjoyed walking to the Saturday morning farmer’s market and picked up some locally made soaps, pasta, and sweets! The house was very clean and beautifully decorated…a relaxing color palette with mid century modern touches throughout. We enjoyed morning coffee while watching the chipmunks and birds play outside. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Courtney’s Home in Petoskey exceeded our expectations. Communication leading up to and during our stay was helpful, kind, and accurate. The photos of the house and yard accurately depict its cleanliness, decor, and amenities. Checking-in and out is quick and uncomplicated. The “House Rules” were short, sweet, and without burden. Being pet-friendly enabled our four-legged family member to be comfortable, secure, and free instead of cooped-up in a tiny hotel room. The fenced in yard was an extra added bonus that he appreciated the most. The home's location is easy to find. It provides quick access to downtown Petoskey and the entire city’s amenities. It also provides direct access to many great surrounding cities and towns such as Harbor Springs, Boyne City, Charlevoix, Indian River, Mackinaw City, and many more. If available in the future, we would love to stay again and highly recommend others to do the same. Safe and happy travels!

This place was VERY clean and spacious. We appreciated the welcome snacks, kitchen utensils/pots/pans, and having extra blankets for hanging out on the couch. This was as described on the listing. Our intention was to explore Mackinac Island. This home was about 30 minutes to the ferry for Mackinac Island. It was about 15 minutes to Petosky, where there are lots of restaurants, shopping, & beaches.

Terry’s place was exactly what we needed for our stay! We came to Petoskey to photograph a wedding, and this Airbnb was the perfect peaceful spot to get good sleep and relax before and after the big event. We also couldn’t believe how many little details they’ve thought of to make the stay even more enjoyable - providing snacks, treats, water bottles, a water cooler, blankets, fans in both rooms and toiletries you may have forgotten. You can tell the hosts are very intentional, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. We will absolutely be back!

Kelsey and Joe know how to be great hosts- they could write The VRBO Manuel! Everything was in working order, the mattresses were perfect, pillows were memory foam, plenty of towels, a well stocked kitchen, working and clean hot tub- plus a welcome bottle of wine and chocolate covered cherries. Thank you - we had a great time!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Yvonne’s home during early summer. The condo was very clean, clutter free, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked of ALL supplies (facial and bathroom tissue, detergent, softener, coffee and all the accompaniments, towels, etc.). The location was fantastic, which made it easy for us to enjoy time in Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Cheboygen, and Good Hart. It was off the beaten path, quiet, and very beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor pools and hot tub. Yvonne communicated very well and responding quickly to any inquiries we had. She’s a wonderful host with a great home! Do not hesitate to book her home if it’s available!

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

We loved our stay in Elmira! The home was cute and very clean. We spent quite a bit of time on the porch and loved how relaxing the whole space was. We used the pool at the resort twice and loved it. Deb was very responsive to any questions we had and made great recommendations of things to do in the area. We would definitely come back!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Great place! Super clean. Will be sure to stay again. Just make sure to bring your shampoo or be prepared to buy some if needed. No toiletries provided that we could find.

The house was spotless with lots of towels which was great. Very secluded with lots of privacy. Great space for family vacation. We were able to play games, relax & cook meals. Highly recommend!!

My family really enjoyed our stay! The place is so big and comfortable. Kim was very responsive to any inquiries we had and offered help in any way. We looked forward to having a place to come back to every night and relax after exploring and shopping all day.

The host for friendly and proactive. He was quick to response with our questions. His place is very cute and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and it was very cleaned. My mom and I enjoyed it very much and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Very clean & welcoming Airbnb! I loved the lake access…the entire stay was super relaxing. All the towns/activities were a close drive which is also a plus!

This is a lovely location in a quiet area on a canal with boat dock right out the back door with all the home amenities you could need. The accommodations has three spacious bedrooms and a large living room area that worked well for 3 couples. The large game room is also great for rain days or evening game nights. The hosts very accommodating and easy to work with, the space was clean and I would recommend this location for your vacation getaway.

This was the perfect location to stay for a quick getaway up north. We had family visiting and took a day trip to Mackinaw Island. Indian River alone is a cute small town with a great breakfast spot. It’s close to 75 and easy to find. The house provided a great view with a lot of room. We would definitely book again!
