Perfect Location , great little find , like home from home , added bonus of parking and dog friendly, will definitely be returning next year

If you are looking for an escape from the world for a couple of days, look no further. The property was absolutely spotless and the host, Andrea, made our stay perfect. A very welcoming and dog friendly property, and our Frenchie didn't want to leave. We loved every minute and wished we could have stayed for longer. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Dorset countryside. There are some lovely local walks and the local pub is only a 15 minute walk away. You are not far from the Jurassic Coast, and we can thoroughly recommend the sculpture park, not far from Dorchester.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay on our way to Cornwall and the setting is just stunning. Our toddler enjoyed paddling in the stream and feeding the alpacas and our dog loved the freedom of being of the lead. Everything was clean and comfortable and it was great sitting and eating on the patio overlooking the garden and wildflowers. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful annex! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away , the accommodation was tasteful throughout and very comfortable. There was everything you needed in the kitchen , we even bought a milk frother on our return !! Bedroom lovely with amazing view from window over the valley , nice feather pillows . The best bit for us was the amazing private garden and veranda , we watched the sun go down and had a humming bird haw moth visit the jasmine. Perfect ! We had a truly restful weekend.

Really lovely house - nicely decorated and very clean, with great facilities. The location is a tiny bit out of the main centre, near the harbour, but this just means it was quiet and the harbour is probably one of the nicest part of Weymouth anyway. Communication was great. There are no curtains in the bedrooms and the front of the house gets a lot of sun (which is lovely!) - so could be an issue for light sleepers.

Our stay was absolutely magical! The place exceeded all our expectations — it was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect: peaceful, close to nature, and ideal for creating unforgettable memories with the family.

Good place to stay and well equipped with towels, soap tea bags coffee etc. TV in most rooms and nicely finished. Only drawback could be very limited parking in the area, however we did manage to park our small car outside the house each day.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Dianne and Stephen were responsive and so welcoming to their beautiful home. The space was comfortable and clean and lovely and light. Our little private decking area was perfect for the children and the dog and had beautiful, peaceful views over the garden. Having access to the pool was amazing, even on a cloudy day we spent a lot of time in there with the children as it was lovely and warm. The garden is beautiful and it was nice to be able to wonder around.

We had an excellent week at this property. Lovely location, we enjoyed our walks down to the beach each day with our dog. Such a lovely buzz on the beach, very chilled. The open top bus from the site to Sandbanks and Poole was great. Our teenage daughter and her friend made use of this a couple of times to go shopping and explore a little on their own. We visited Corfe Castle, which was in a lovely place and parked on the Purbeck car park (rather than the actual Castle Car Park) which gave a lovely scenic walk through and passed over the Steam Railway. We visited Lulworth Cove and did the cliff top walk over to Durdle Door, which was an amazing site. Weymouth is beautiful, very sunny that day so perfect for a sea side resort. We took a look at the Beach Hut, in a great place, with a green area, Cafe and play park. Would work really well as a base for enjoying yourselves, especially if you have younger children. location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

We had a blissful few days at Flint cottage. Wonderful kitchen to cook in, and multiple fabulous farm shops nearby. We ordered a heat and eat pie and a DIY breakfast pack for our first night, which made the start of the holiday so much more chilled out. The outdoor bath was also really special. We were so comfortable throughout we just relaxed completely. Can’t wait to come back!

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

This was the best air b and b stay I’ve had! It was so peaceful and quiet. I booked it for my mums birthday and she was blown away by the property. If you are looking to get away and relax this is the place! Everything was such high quality and felt very homely. Thank you ☺️

lovely stay for my friend and I, felt very at home in Mark's place, beautiful cosy home, lovely and cool in the summer and I can imagine cosy and warm in the winter with the log burner. everything was spotless, garden was lovely and really pretty at night. only tiny problem I had was the stairs but I have mobility issues so that's my problem not Mark's. house was so close to everything, weymouth is beautiful, loads of places to eat and have days out. thank you Mark for lovely stay 🌞

Fantastic stay at Joanne's. The house was cozy and had all the appliances we could need for a few days and in very good condition. All little details had been carefully thougt of, including a welcome hamper. The shower had very good pressure and the terrace was very enjoyable in the sunny mornings. Parking can be tricky to find at times but despite that we had a very pleasant stay.

I had a lovely relaxing solo trip! The apartment is comfy and clean with a magnificent view of the ocean! It has privacy and is nice and quiet! A nice pub next door and a CO-OP which is handy. I enjoyed my stay throughout! Looking forward to staying again!

The cottage is beautifully refurbished and clean throughout. It was a pleasure to stay there, and was very relaxing. Andy and Sam prepared a very thoughtful welcome pack for us, after asking our preferences. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Valerie’s house was like a home from home. Immaculate inside and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. Biscuits were a lovely welcome treat and coffee and tea for the morning were welcomed. The garden at the back was a perfect suntrap. The house is well placed for a short stroll to Saltys fish and chips and a short stroll down hill to the Cove Inn. The end of the road takes you onto the coastal path which made our walk to Portland lighthouse much easier. As a host Valerie responded really quickly to any questions we had including questions about parking which we didn’t struggle with at all. Highly recommended and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in this AirBnB. The highlight was definitely the stunning sea view- waking up to the sound of the waves and sitting in the backyard while having my coffee was very relaxing. The house was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary items present in it. It had games, books and toys for kids. It also had a telescope that we used to view the moon which made the night extra special Co-op was at walkable distance in case we needed anything. The showpiece and the paintings just added to the overall aesthetic and experience of the island. Overall, it was a great place and I would 100% recommend it.

Had a great time with our 2 grandsons during half term. The Lodge is well furnished with plenty of kitchen equipment for self catering. Neil responds quickly to queries and the Lodge,s situation is ideal for local amenities and walks. We arranged some rock climbing for the boys which they thought was 'awesome!' Will definitely return in due course.
