Welcome to the Müllerstube

Far from the hustle and bustle of the village, surrounded by meadows and fields, is our apartment on a historic mill farm. First mentioned in 1311, it is one of the oldest properties in the village The guest suite (Müllerstube) is a self-contained apartment on the first floor of the house and can be locked separately. You will find a kitchen with cooking and dining facilities, a dressing room, a bathroom with shower and a spacious bedroom with a double bed and two single beds.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The construction trailer has its own fenced garden, barbecue, seating in the garden, fireplace in the construction trailer, etc. It is romantic, extraordinary and ideal for nature lovers to stay there and be awakened by birdsong in the morning. A cozy two-room apartment renovated in 2022 awaits you with connections to the city center and in direct contact with nature. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. From the property, it is only a 5-minute walk to the best beer gardens and restaurants in the city. Our most popular hiking trails and mountain bike trails are just a 15-minute walk away. Shopping is within walking distance in 200 meters.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Quiet room with private bathroom and entrance

The room has its own separate entrance and is located in the basement. A small hallway (which is only used by the guest) leads to the room. The room is connected to the private bathroom with shower. Optionally (for a fee), the sauna can be used. WiFi is available. A fridge and a microwave as well as a kettle are available for use. Bicycles and motorcycles can be safely stored in the garage.

Vergiss für kurze Zeit deine Sorgen. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoß eines Hochhauses in Bad Lauterberg. Sie verfügt über eine Größe von 54 qm und eine angrenzende Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheit. Für 2 Personen ist sie optimal geschnitten und eingerichtet. Im Kellerbereich steht ein kleines Schwimmbad zur Verfügung. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus.

In this accommodation there is the adventure playground directly adjacent to the cottage. The children can play carefree, while the family can enjoy the peace on the terrace. The nature outdoor swimming pool is located three minutes walk from the holiday home. The Harz is also within half an hour.
