Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . The Moulin de la Vallais

Relax at this enchanting riverside house that was the bakery many years ago. Lovely views all around the house and isolated so you can sit in the garden and listen to the river but know that you are five minutes from St Hilaire du harcouet. The river is next to the property with a large patio area to relax in and a lovely place for walks. There is also fishing sites just outside the property. See on line for fishing restrictions. It is also 30 minutes from Mont Saint Michel.

Located in the small town of Lassay-les-Châteaux, voted 3rd favorite village of the French 2023, you will find a few meters from the medieval castle, all the useful shops as well as the tourist office. Many walks can be taken from the cottage.
