This old barn has been transformed into an architectural experience through modern expansion. Over 250 square meters, two living areas, three enclosed bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. There is also a sauna. Suitable for up to two families or three couples. The location: village edge overlooking the fields, the circular village of Trabuhn in beautiful Wendland. In the village there is a riding stable with flexible riding opportunities for guests, including children. Swimming opportunities in Arendsee and Gartow.

Euch erwarten ein großzügiger, offener Wohn- und Essbereich mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, vier separate Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder sowie ein Schlafsofa für zwei weitere Gäste. Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Highlight ist der helle Wohnbereich mit hoher Decke, offenem Fachwerk und verglastem Tennentor mit Blick auf den Dorfplatz.

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Vacation home on the Drömling

Right on the Drömling, the unique biosphere reserve, is our apartment on the ground floor of a large farmhouse. It has a separate entrance. Parking with the possibility to charge the electric car is available right in front of the house. The courtyard property is completely fenced and therefore ideal for children. The swing, the sandbox and the stilt house may be played with, so that our dog, cats, chickens and ponies quickly become a minor matter. You are welcome to use the pool.

In nur zwei Gehminuten seid ihr am schönen Elbstrand oder dem Marktplatz mit kleinen Cafés und Stöbergeschäften. Mit der Fahrradfähre seid ihr in 5 Minuten auf der anderen Elbseite von wo aus euch ein angenehm befahrbarer Radweg immer den Fluss entlang führt. P.s. Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
