House holiday rentals in Kamigyo Ward

Great location by train station, very walkable and lots of stores and mall near station. Very quiet neighborhood. Clean and authentic living space. Would stay there again!

The location is excellent. It is hardly a 5 minute walk to Shin osaka station. There are lots of shop and restaurants nearby the house. There was only one minor inconvenience. The floors were really squeaky, once our kid slept even tip toing didn’t help to prevent the noise from walking on floor. But as she slept like a log after tiring day it didn’t wake her up. Even the kitchen chairs etc seemed a bit outdated and were a bit loose and squeaky. There is only one bathroom and one western toilet.

A great place a bit out the way, I would definitely stay again .I would recommend to rent a car or a bicycle to get back at night. the local Transit shuts down 8ish. but a very nice place. just look for all the boats.

I was able to enjoy Nara in a convenient location. There was also a great selection of furniture and tableware, and it was a wonderful stay.Thank you very much.

Beautiful traditional place, refurbished to a high quality, in a picturesque quiet residential neighbourhood. Special experience to stay somewhere like this. Would strongly recommend getting bikes though since it’s not near a metro station, as you’ll need to travel for the sites and for places to eat and drink. You’ll also need to consider if you will dislike all the door heights being low, or the ceiling lamps. I hit my head a number of times - but that’s just a fact for the style of place not a fault of this property.

Incredible location, great Japanese home, clean and spacious. The manager, Naoto, runs a coffee shop next door with incredible cappuccinos. We got one every morning, and it was great knowing he was nearby if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home that blends modern and traditional Japanese architecture. Every light is a dimmable LED on the main floor, and we appreciated the glass-walled garden at the center. Upstairs we only used the main room room, but everything is tatami mats and shoji screens so it's very peaceful.

The place is just great! We felt very comfortable right away. The accommodation offers plenty of space, is beautifully designed and of high quality. We would recommend the place to anyone! Communication with the host also works great! Once we had a question and we were helped within a very short time. The space you have in the accommodation is particularly nice, because it is quite large. In addition, the large bathtub overlooking the small garden is very relaxing.

We LOVED this place so much, especially coming from the hustle and bustle rim Tokyo! We were greeted by the co-host who was explained everything and made us feel very welcome! If you coming from Kyoto station it’s easy to catch the 50 city bus which drops you 2 minutes from the house. The restaurant recommendations by the host are amazing. Try as many as you can! We would love to come back to Kyoto and if we ever will, we sure will book this wonderful place again!

Great host and beautiful place!

We spent a great week in Maki’s house. It’s brand new. Clean and super convinient. In a quiet neighbourhood but with stores nearby and well deserved by public transport - altough we almost walk back and forth from the appartement to down town Kyoto every day. And Maki responds almost automaticaly to our questions. She really make sure you will have all you need. We will be back!

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enamored by this place. Kozo and the rest of the team were so welcoming and hospitable— walking us through every detail, providing recommendations, and take the time to learn about our travel needs. They provided more amenities than I have ever experienced at an Airbnb (skincare products, delicious snacks, and more). I could not have dreamed of a more picturesque place to spend my time in Kyoto. The neighborhood is quiet, local, with several good food options nearby and a stunning shrine just minutes walk away. It felt like we had warped back in time. We actually teared up as we closed the door to move onto our next destination.

We loved our stay at Kasumi’s beautiful traditional Japanese home. It offered an authentic cultural experience with all the modern comforts. Just a short walk to Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion), the location was perfect. Kasumi was an exceptional host—thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly kind, even bringing toys and treats for our daughters. Highly recommend!
