A renovated one-story traditional house located along the Yoshino River in Nara Prefecture, at the foot of Mt. Koya. It is located in a quiet, nature-rich environment where you can feel the changes of the four seasons close at hand. The host lives in the house, but the shared spaces are the entrance, the living and dining room, and the kitchen. Private spaces such as the bedrooms and shower rooms are for the exclusive use of guests. There are also three toilets and three washrooms for a maximum of eight people, so you can get ready in the morning without any worries. The price includes a TKG breakfast made with local ingredients. You can also have barbecues, bonfires, and fireworks in the garden. You can also do laundry freely during your stay, and you can use the drying area and dryer for free. Limited to one group per day. Available for 1 to 8 people. Children up to 2 years old can stay for free when sharing a bed. Your beloved pets can also stay indoors with you as usual. (The price is the same for adults and children, depending on the number of bedding items) The host will generally be staying, so please feel free to ask for sightseeing or local information. The guest and host bedrooms are completely separate, and there is no set time to turn off the lights, so you can spend your time as you wish. There are two separate guest bedrooms, so groups can stay without any worries.

(If there are 4 people, there will be no desk) For multiple people, we recommend a bed-type room. The toilet and bath are not in the room. (The toilet and bath are shared in a separate location)

From here, it’s only 30 minutes to Kyoto and 15 minutes to Nara, making it a great base for exploring the area. Parking is available, so you’re welcome to arrive by rental car as well. The house also features a café and a weekend beer garden, where you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and connect with friendly locals.

Hana house is located within 5 min walk of Katsura station on Hankyu line. 　You takes less 7 min from Katsura station to Arashiyama(嵐山) ,takes only 15 min to Gion and 20 min to JR Kyoto station.The moss temple “Saihoji” is at the next station.The region is located in one of the most culturally important areas of the country.The Katsura Imperial Villa is located a 15-minute walk away.

We are surrounded by nature, often with gorgeous views of the sun rising over Lake Biwa. Biwako Valley ski & scenic resort is nearby; Kyoto just 35 minutes away by local train. Hiking trails are nearby, Lake Biwa 1 km away. Guests are encouraged to interact with us, and our dogs, upstairs. Free parking for drivers. If coming by train, we can offer a ride after 6pm, then the next morning, so train guests should inquire before reserving. Due to regulations, we can't serve dinner.
