It is equipped with underfloor heating, so you don't feel the cold in the winter, and warm your mind and body. In summer, you can have a comfortable stay with air conditioning. There is also a system kitchen, so please spend a fun meal around your family and friends. Fully equipped with a drum washer and dryer, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. Cottage near "Yellow Pumpkin" in Seto Inland Sea National Park - Kai (Ocean Side) - Rental Cottage

This is a private cottage on the beach of Naoshima, a sacred place for art.There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the sea side building.You can use the free parking space on the premises, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, with 6 beds in the ground floor bedroom and up to 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, so you can stay between 6 and 8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used for family and friend trips, as well as for student training camps and seminar trips. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Yellow Pumpkin, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in a room with plenty of wood, handled by a local carpenter. We have also started a Naoshima sightseeing tour for guests staying at Ohana.There are many places where you need to make reservations in advance, such as museums in Naoshima, and I hope to provide you with more fulfilling Naoshima sightseeing, such as arranging tickets, transfers by car, and sightseeing in Naoshima by bicycle rental. Located on the southern slope of Mt. Myoho, one of the peaks in the World Heritage Kumano-Nachi mountain range, this is a mountain hut-style private accommodation with a 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains and the Kumano Sea spreading out below.　 The accommodation building has a traditional Japanese sunken kotatsu fireplace and a wood stove, so you can experience rural life, warm yourself by the wood stove, and be soothed by the flickering flames through the glass. Vegetables, blueberries, and fruit trees are grown on nearby farms, and you can experience picking them. We also raise chickens, so you can enjoy a slightly different morning egg rice with freshly laid eggs. You can also enjoy nature and refresh your mind and body in the midst of the seasonal scenery. As a Japanese cultural experience, there is a calligraphy lesson by a young female calligrapher. Reservations are required and it costs 1,000 yen per person for about an hour. While your child is playing in the athletic facility (Greenia) on Mount Rokko, parents can also work.The main building next door is also open as a shared office, so you can use the office separately or use the meeting room (for a fee). Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
