Hotel Pa 'amalu

Kai’s place was a sanctuary for peace and relaxation. The lanai is so expansive and equipped with custom made screens which pull in a beautiful breeze and keep the mosquitoes out. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is updated and the rain shower head is exactly what you need every morning and or night. I cannot say enough about the gorgeous birds that come daily for the birdbath. You will wake to the sounds of rolling water and songbirds at sunrise. Also there is a very entertaining hen that runs around the property and the geckos will keep you company as well. The mango orchard is expansive and beautiful. And the gas grill is great for a cookout. I would come back to visit Kai‘s place in a heartbeat. If you are seeking solitude, peace, and beautiful woodsy surroundings, this place is for you. Kai is such an excellent host, you’ll be glad you chose this gem of a cottage!

Charming 2-bedroom cottage with large screened lanai and unique view of Kealakekua Bay

BeckyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at the farm was wonderful - beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well appointed, and the screened in lanai was a fabulous place to gather, watch the sunset, and relax. Not a big deal , but the tv is in the bedroom, so watching a family movie is difficult. There was an ample supply of snorkeling gear, a cooler, and boogie boards, which we much appreciated. Rivah and Johan couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. They’re great people, and they roast some delicious coffee beans. Thanks, Rivah and Johan, for sharing your paradise with us.

Look No Further Hale Nai'a Pink Cottage Kealakekua

HettyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
wonderful! Don't miss. Highlights: bed extremely comfortable, great hot water and shower pressure, washer/dryer; we cooked fresh fish every night (but could have eaten it raw): from Kona Seafood Market and Choice Mart. Don't miss the view, carrot cake, Ono fish sandwich and EVERYTHING at Coffee shack cafe. Loved the Kayak rental on the corner, we saw the dolphins at Captain Cook and snorkled at 2 step beach every day! We slept so well! Even through roosters and Coqui frog (everywhere on the island). Thank you Rusty for use of the snorkling equipment - including wetsuits and EVERYTHING!

Hoku Hale on Wings of Aloha

CoreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jennifer and her husband were lovely hosts . Jennifer was very communicative and even let us amend the booking when we has accidentally booked the air bnb for the wrong night. The house was surrounded by beautiful greenery and bird chirp noises. Even better, the bed was very comfortable. Her husband even offered us a smoothie in the morning. We would highly recommend staying at the house in the clouds if staying in Captain Cook. 10/10

Kona Joe Coffee #1

KatieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Amazing place that is exactly as pictured! We arrived at night and it was a little hard to find. There aren’t lights around so be aware of that if you are arriving at night. Also, it’s on a slant and you can only enter from the back door so you walk over mud and grass to get to the door. It can be a bit tricky and messy. If you aren’t ok with a few bugs (you are surrounded by beautiful nature), this place might not be for you. The place was clean and the view to wake up to was absolutely gorgeous! So peaceful. A unique place to stay! Mahalo!

Io’s Nest- studio on a coffee farm with ocean view

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great little ‘treehouse’ experience. It rained both nights we were there, so our wet things (from snorkeling) never dried out. The unit had no glass windows (except for in the door), but pulling the curtains closed over the screens helped it stay warm. The fresh, farm-grown bananas were amazing. If you’re not comfortable driving on narrow, bumpy roads, plan on arriving before dark.

Camp Ku'uipo

My husband and I with our 8 month old absolutely loved our stay at ocean view. It had everything we possibly would have needed and the hosts were incredible. They were attentive, made the place feel like home and their communication was very thorough. If you need a place to stay, I would highly recommend choosing this cute tiny home. My husband and I will book this place in our next trip back to the big island. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises 😎.

Magical farm retreat, stunning yurt & spa bathroom

We really enjoyed being in the middle of a farm with coffee trees and other produce. We felt like we were immersed in nature with all the sounds. The bold geckos were an adorable presence.
