If you are looking for a great place to stay during your trip to Kona this is the place. The condo is newly remodeled and looks amazing. The biggest point is the beautiful view from the lanai with comfortable seating to read and watch the ocean. You can see turtles and watch local surfers catch waves from the lanai.

Great location, clean, was as described. Only downside is the walls are thin as said in previous reviews.

We immediately felt right at home and welcomed by Regina and Scott. From the well organized binder of information to every amenity one might need, this is THE place to spend a week. When not running out to the sites on the Big Island, this property will meet all your needs. The room was quiet and had easy access. We could easily walk to town or have dinner on our private lanai while watching the sunset. When the staff blows the conch shells at sunset, all will be right in your world.

Outstanding air bnb. My family and I loved staying here. We slept well in the cozy beds, ate well in the amazing kitchen and lounged beautifully all around. I adored the full size ld and brand new washer and dryer! Absolutely a hidden gem of all gems. Well appointed in every way. And we even fell in love with the sweet neighbor pup who thoughtfully greeted us daily. Kenya has a great property (with a spectacular view) and a kindness that is steeped into her home, her instruction, and her hospitality. Absolutely 10/10. We would return!!! Actually I would stay anywhere else on the big island. Thank you so much, Kenya!

Super close to the beautiful magic sands beach and only 10 minutes away from manta ray snorkeling which was an amazing experience!!! Nice central spot for all the stops we had planned across the island. Howard was so friendly!

We had the most magical week at Maryanne's home, would 100% recommend - we'll be back! The condo is even better than photos, it's spacious, well furnished and equipped, cozy and has the most amazing view. This has to be one of the best spots on Ali'i drive because you have an unobstructed view of the ocean and you can walk across the street for tacos (every day), and fruit/flower/fresh baked goods on Fri/Sat/Sun -- and a few minutes down the road is Da Poke Shack... so good! It's really easy to jump in the car and head down to Magic Sands for some boogie boarding, our favorite morning activity. We came with our baby and 8 year old and the condo was perfect for our family of four. Although shades are not technically black out, they keep the rooms very dark and we rarely noticed any street noise. Loved the pool and we used the pool table a lot as well. Maryanne has a stocked closet full of beach goodies (snorkels, boogies, etc) as well as tons of beach towels. Overall, amazing!

Angela was very responsive in the Airbnb’s app! Whenever we had an issue, ie confused the building number (due to jet lag), had a small mishap with the washing machine, or any other questions, she was always quick to reply and came over one night to problem solve the washing machine issue. It was easy, she was flexible with our schedule and very kind! She was also very accommodating for us having two little ones, she had two pack n plays set out with fresh sheets and brand new looking blankets for our arrival. Bathroom had basics items like bath washes, bubble bath, lotion, assortment of sunscreens etc. we especially enjoyed the Tommy Bahama cooler backpack for our long days at Kona beaches. This listing is on Ali’I Dr and therefore close to an assortment of local needs (Walmart for affordable groceries and several beach accesses.) Sometimes the studio was not very toddler friendly- but that is a reflection of our wildling NOT ANGELA! We would easily come again just 2 of us.

This was the perfect spot! We are walkable to downtown all the shops and restaurants and coffee places, and when you have that plus a view!! We can’t wait to come back! This was the perfect spot for a girls getaway

I felt comfortable and at home right away. The place was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed. It’s also centrally located, with everything you might need close by – shops, food, and more. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it!

I was impressed - by the cleanliness, the surroundings (the grounds are beautiful), the quiet / serinity, the thoroughly stocked: 1) food and cooking needs (oils, spices, rice, popcorn, dishes, pots, pans, storage containers, etc), 2) beach closet (beach towels, masks and snorkels, umbrellas, chairs,etc.), 3) bathroom (even emergency supplies), 4) laundry soap. Eric has thought of everything!

Stayed there a few time already. Still a great place to stay. I usually come there to work and it’s usually just animals doing their thing and easy to what ever it is I want. The stove is good and washing machines are clean. They respond fast and are willing to listen to you talk hahaha. Beyond that overall good stay.

We stayed at Betsy’s Airbnb for 8 days and had a fantastic time. The apartment is clean, spacious, and well-organized, with everything you’d need—including a fully equipped kitchen. The location is excellent: restaurants and stores are right next door, and downtown Kona is just a short walk away. The ABC Store is also just a couple of blocks away for convenience. The apartment is directly across from the ocean, offering beautiful views and the relaxing sound of waves. We were lucky to be there during King Kamehameha Day and watched the parade right from the balcony! The bedroom is quiet—we’re light sleepers and had no trouble sleeping. Betsy was a great host—very communicative and helpful. She provided detailed check-in instructions, and when we accidentally left something behind, she went out of her way to mail it back to us. Highly recommended!

We arrived late, but Linda kindly waited to welcome my daughter and me to her very comfortable studio. The studio has everything you need for a stay of several days—or even weeks—surrounded by nature, with the sounds of coqui frogs and roosters that are part of the authentic Hawaiian experience. Linda was always available for any questions or requests, while remaining discreet. A short drive brings you to some of the best spots on this amazing island!

We stayed for several days at this well located apartment. Lennis was a lovely host. She left us some snacks and wine, and also allowed us to check out an hour later to accommodate a busy morning. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The parking is very close to the apartment which is handy. The only issue we had were the incessant fruit flies. Because there is no glass in two of the windows (just a wood screen with a bug mesh), it is too easy for them to get in. We were very careful to clean well but it was just impossible. We would definitely stay here again but it was quite annoying at times.

Glenn’s place was fantastic! It was exactly as pictured, new, VERY clean, and with an amazing aesthetic. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need and the basic condiments to make breakfast, dinner, sandwiches, etc. the balcony and sunset views were perfect for winding down with a drink at the end of the day or enjoying a coffee in the morning. Location was perfect, Kona is small, check-in was super easy and straight forward. We heard music and folks a few nights but it quickly died down after 10PM - really not a big deal. Glenn provides all the beach stuff you’d need - coolers, chairs, umbrella, hats! He really thought of every detail. The place honestly has a hotel feel to it, easily a 4/4.5 star. With the currency it was a bit out of our price range but I am SO happy we went for it. Treat yourself and do the same 🙂 Suggestion: rent a Jeep for the day & do the Mauna Kea sunset summit. Best beach to chill/swim: Kua Bay

This is such a great location, everything was in walking distance for us. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. We liked the back lanai and sat and drank our coffee every morning. There’s a great smell of flowers. The lanai is also right next to the pool so easy to get to the bathroom. You can’t have alcohol in the pool area but this is close enough that you can enjoy a nice mai tai from the lanai. Great host and location. Would book again.

Nate and Jacob are the best Hosts at Airbnb. They are super responsive, helpful and understanding and were so empathetic with our needs and travel itinerary. The place is right by the beach, peaceful, comfy, easy to find parking and amenities and has a swimming pool and hot tub too. We loved the apartment with modern amenities - full stack kitchen, washer and dryer and a very powerful AC - Ideal for the weather and when you are traveling with kids. the highlight of the place is the balcony - They have a dining table and beach chairs and we saw fishes, birds, and people kayaking in the pristine waters of the Pacific ocean from it. Location is great too - On Ali'i drive and right next to Magic Sands beach. thank you so much guys! can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful place, our room was better than the photos. Close to many great food spots but also has a full kitchen if you want to make some meals in. Beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Wish we stayed longer, my family had no complaints.

We very happy with the place! We loved the decor and furniture, the patio area is excellent with amazing views of the surf (enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening out there!). It is also very conveniently stocked with essentials, which is much appreciated. Easy walk to many, many great restaurants and shops!

The house was cozy and comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower & jacuzzi. Kathleen was very friendly, she explained everything in the house and gave us a warm welcome. There was fresh fruit from the garden for us every day! We would definitly recommend this place!

Thoroughly enjoy our stay at this well equiped, freshly renovated condo. Amazing views of the ocean and next to the pool. Central to all the cool attractions the Big Island has to offer.

Terry is truly an unmatched host. Her apartment was just as beautiful as the photos with comprehensive amenities such as snorkeling gear and tennis rackets. She was incredibly proactive in making sure we were enjoying our stay, provided spot-on recommendations for activity, and even added some lovely personal touches as we celebrated our honeymoon. Incredibly thoughtful host who gave us the trip of a lifetime!

Annabel pretty much saved our vacation. After booking with a different Airbnb location that was not clean and did not have a responsive host Annabel was quick to respond which is what I needed at the time. Annabel is a fantastic host. Her place is comfortable clean and quiet! The kitchen is really nice, we like to eat at least one meal in so we can afford other things! She left us beach towels and chairs which came in handy on our trip to Hapuna Beach. Her place is close to the pool and just a few steps to a gorgeous view of the ocean. Also, just a mile or two from the main shopping/eating on Ali'i Dr. but not so close that all that traffic is bothersome. It's centrally located so you're not too far from anything. I would absolutely stay here again.
