Waterfront holiday rentals in Keauhou Bay

The apartment was beautiful! The view was exactly as the photo depicted. The place was organized, clean, and was supplied with almost everything and anything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

We had the most magical week at Maryanne's home, would 100% recommend - we'll be back! The condo is even better than photos, it's spacious, well furnished and equipped, cozy and has the most amazing view. This has to be one of the best spots on Ali'i drive because you have an unobstructed view of the ocean and you can walk across the street for tacos (every day), and fruit/flower/fresh baked goods on Fri/Sat/Sun -- and a few minutes down the road is Da Poke Shack... so good! It's really easy to jump in the car and head down to Magic Sands for some boogie boarding, our favorite morning activity. We came with our baby and 8 year old and the condo was perfect for our family of four. Although shades are not technically black out, they keep the rooms very dark and we rarely noticed any street noise. Loved the pool and we used the pool table a lot as well. Maryanne has a stocked closet full of beach goodies (snorkels, boogies, etc) as well as tons of beach towels. Overall, amazing!

Super close to the beautiful magic sands beach and only 10 minutes away from manta ray snorkeling which was an amazing experience!!! Nice central spot for all the stops we had planned across the island. Howard was so friendly!

From start to finish, Rex was a communicative, responsive, friendly host. Their condo is spectacular! All the modern amenities, peaceful, and right on the water, with an incredible wrap around lanai, to enjoy breakfast on, and spectacular sunsets. I'd book this gorgeous place in a heartbeat! We had our anniversary here...so perfect! Thanks Rex, for the lovely stay!

Thomas’s house was great! It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved having access to the washer and dryer. It fit our family of 5 comfortably, and we appreciated the air conditioning, snorkel gear, and boogie board. There was great snorkeling nearby, and we loved walking across the street to drink our coffee by the ocean every morning! I would definitely stay here again!

We wish we could give this place more than 5 stars because it was beyond what we imagined. We stayed as a family of four and it was the perfect place to be for a nice five days of vacation. There were two bathrooms and two showers as well as two private bedrooms. There is everything you need for comfort, extra blankets and towels to use. On top of that, the washer and dryer in unit was a gem.The kitchen is so well equipped that we cooked without trouble and ate at the dining table with an amazing view of the sea. The water is literally right outside the lanai with nothing blocking your view. We spent most of our time in the living room because of the beautiful ocean view. The location is great with downtown Kona as a 5-10 min drive or a nice stroll. Marta was also so responsive and kind, and had everything organized and instructions detailed down. We would stay here again if we ever visit Big Island again!

Glenn’s place was fantastic! It was exactly as pictured, new, VERY clean, and with an amazing aesthetic. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need and the basic condiments to make breakfast, dinner, sandwiches, etc. the balcony and sunset views were perfect for winding down with a drink at the end of the day or enjoying a coffee in the morning. Location was perfect, Kona is small, check-in was super easy and straight forward. We heard music and folks a few nights but it quickly died down after 10PM - really not a big deal. Glenn provides all the beach stuff you’d need - coolers, chairs, umbrella, hats! He really thought of every detail. The place honestly has a hotel feel to it, easily a 4/4.5 star. With the currency it was a bit out of our price range but I am SO happy we went for it. Treat yourself and do the same 🙂 Suggestion: rent a Jeep for the day & do the Mauna Kea sunset summit. Best beach to chill/swim: Kua Bay

This was a gem of a place. The lanai was perfect to sit for morning coffee and watch fantastic sunsets in the evening. The ocean view and breeze were fantastic! The complex was quiet and well maintained. Parking was easy. The condo was well furnished, super organized, clean, and had lots of little extras like beach towels, chairs, etc. Location is centrally located for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and headed out on the boat excursions. We highly recommend the condo. It worked out perfect for us! Thanks to Brian and Sachiko for being terrific hosts.

We loved our stay right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of 4! We would stay again :)

Peter and Lori are friendly and welcoming and their property is truly lovely -- it is evident that a lot of care, effort and thought goes into to maintaining it. The cottage makes a perfect home base for exploring the area. It is also so pretty and comfortable that you just might want to pick up a pizza, watch some Jeopardy and dream about what it would be like if every Friday evening was that perfect :) Thank you so much Peter & Lori!

This place was beautiful!! The ocean was literally right outside of the house. There was snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and pool noodles provided. It felt really welcoming being here. Regina was quickly responsive to any of my questions or comments as well. Make sure to pack WATER SHOES, the oceans are rock filled. Do not miss visiting 2step beach, which is only about 10 minutes from the house. The house was very comfortable for myself and family. Thank you so much for hosting us Regina, if we come back to Kona we will definitely be looking to stay at your home again! :)

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Pictures simply do not do justice to the stunning views and gorgeous sunsets!! The home is spacious, extremely comfortable, well stocked, and the big island decor was perfect!! Would recommend without hesitation and hope to return again soon.

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s place. The home is nestled in a lush, serene setting and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Mary and her property manager were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking evening walks to catch the sunset over the ocean at the nearby park. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and we loved the open-air layout—it felt like a home away from home. Waking up to the sight and sounds of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom is something we’ll miss. Thank you, Mary, for graciously sharing your beautiful space with us! The memories our family made at this home are something we'll always hold dearly.

The house has beautiful ocean views, our favorite part of the stay was falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The kids loved having the pool right outside the house. We only wish there had been more umbrellas for shade. The kitchen was well stocked (yes, ocean views from the sink, we didn’t mind doing dishes at all!). The house was spacious, comfortable, private, and had everything we needed. As clearly stated in the listing, there is no central AC. If you’re sensitive to heat, keep that in mind. The portable units in the bedrooms weren’t very powerful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was well-equipped, there was great snorkeling right outside the property, and was conveniently located near coffee shops, restaurants, and beaches. Thank you so much for hosting our family!

We loved this sweet little cottage for the location, size, and accommodation. We had most things at our fingertips and made for a wonderful stay to enjoy our mornings and evenings between excursions. You can easily cook meals at home or walk to nearby establishments. The interior was slightly aged and could use a deep clean but overall fantastic place. Heidi was extremely responsive and was very accommodating. The house came with fun things you could borrow; snorkeling, fishing poles, beach chairs, beach mats & umbrellas, life jackets, handy cooler and picnic tables + chairs. Highly recommended!! We’ll be back :)

Enjoyed as advertised and more…perfect location next to the beach and away from the busy tourist area. The ocean environment did not disappoint. Great location to go anywhere on the Big Island. The unexpected leisure items were also a welcomed plus. Thank you so much for hosting us…could not have asked for a better stay.

Wendy’s place was amazing for us. We loved watching the surfers in the morning while we drank our coffee. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! One day we took an uber to the beach and used the chairs and umbrella. They were great! My husband is a larger man and fit nicely in their beach chairs. Another thing to note is there location. It’s walkable to town but down the road so you get that peace and quiet. We had an amazing time and would recommend staying here!

The condo was perfect for our family of four with two older teens. The third bed is a fold down couch. My kids took turns sleeping on it and both said it was pretty comfortable considering it was a fold down couch. The kitchen was well supplied and all the extra towels were very much appreciated. The pool is salt water, not chlorine. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends/family and stay there again. BTW hosts were amazing! Very prompt replies and very easy to work with.

Easy check-in, clean, and the pictures are accurate. Has a beautiful view on the lanai. The only downside is that it's not walkable to downtown Kona but there are some food trucks and other places pretty close. Overall, it was a great stay.

Casa Keli is a great place to stay. Nice complex, easy parking, close to downtown Kona. We walked to a beach & the deli. There is a small liquor store with other essentials or food items if needed right in front of the complex. The place itself was comfortable, clean, & well stocked. Lots of glasses, dishes, & silverware. We didn’t cook but appeared to have the necessary items. The bed was comfortable & had a good size bathroom. There were beach chairs that were a nice touch as well as some snorkels with masks. I was happy with the space & location. Good value.

Great location. Close to everything. Had everything we needed. Watched surfer surfing every morning. Highlight of the stay, saw a turtle at the beach right in front of the house two mornings in a row.

Amazing location. Literally on the shoreline! The apartment is very clean and well stocked. Pool was much nicer than I expected… and we often were the only ones at it. Cannot hear any road noise or neigbors as the sounds of the waves drown out everything else. It’s a great little complex. The sunsets are bonkers…. Oh and I am happy to report the freezer has an ice maker!

We had a great time. Sherry’s place was perfect, clean and felt like home. The surroundings are beautiful!
